Home solar installation

A lot of us have homes we spend some time in. Discussions can be about any topic that may be of interest that you can think of... renovations, purchases, expenses, etc, etc

I broke the times starting at midnight because I thought if I expressed it as suggested, some people might be confused by a start time later than the finish time.
But you are correct. 👍😊

I sort of understand.....
We have TWO rates:
Peak — 1500~2100
Other — 0000~1500 & 2100~2400.
is really,
We have TWO rates:
Peak — 1500~2100
Other — 0000~1500 tommorow & 2100~2400 today.

or could it be?
We have TWO rates:
Peak — 1500~2100
Other — 0000~1500 today & 2100~2400 yesterday.

All the clocks in our house and motorhome and both cars have 12 hours on them..
And we can tell the time on them without thinking.

And, Bernie. They don't have a little knob on the back to adjust for day light savings. Makes them cheaper that way.

That's why there is no knob. No need to adjust for daylight savings.

Bernie, sing this after me. "Clocks are cheaper where I come from."

Must be a slow internet night. Nothing in the news. Crap on TV.

I use a 24hr clock because it’s commonly used not only by the Military and shipping, but in radio & TV, where I started my career. I can use it without having to use my fingers.
If I was told my shift tomorrow was eight o’clock to twelve o‘clock… “eight o’clock” could be AM or PM.
However, 0800 to 1200 is very different to 2000 to 2400.
QED.

My watch:

… and after 50 years, SWMBO is used to it, 😊 even though she prefers her watch to display analog hands.

Funny story:
Early in our marriage we hosted a dinner party for 12.
One of the ladies wandered into the kitchen to offer help with the clean-up.
On the kitchen shelf we had a 24hr clock displaying “2004”.
She looked at it and asked, “What time is that.”
I explained that in the changeover to metrics, the day will shortly be changed from 12hrs to 20, with 50 metric minutes to the metric hour. This was a new metric clock, and the time is four minutes past midnight.
She believed me… and was shocked 😲 that we had spent so much time over the meal… until I told her I was joking and the actual time was just after eight o’clock.
🤣🤣🤣
