Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Deborah the bro has been "divorced" from Sue since this all began nearly 7 years ago, she won the final court case BUT the crooked lawyer decided to appeal, that judge was supposed to read all of the proceedings and come to the final decision, that took 8 months and came back with with he had "overturned all the other judges findings thus allowing the latest case where they are trying to bankrupt Sue OR she can pay bro off with $650ks plus the 5 acre block of Sues land. (valued at over $2mill) The bro has not even paid what he was ordered to pay Sue for an earlier case. There has to be some corruption in there somewhere but as I have said before her bro is in with a big drug guy. Maybe he is paying the bent lawyers bills.? Sue's health is just hanging in there but not happy Jan. Might have to look elsewhere for assistance. The same as ACA has been spoken to but to no avail. See how the new lawyer goes with his investigations. He has known Sue for 38 years and will do what he can to help Sue. Anyway re hair cuts if we were out and about I would get G to use the dog clippers on my hair like the forum beasts did to me in 2014 in WA for the the leukemia mob  I am awaiting for notice from the Adelaide Dental clinic to invite me back into their fold and not being forced to go to the Mt Barker useless mob. (thanks to the help of my oncologist) Actually have you noticed the process of ringing for appointments? Firstly you get put on hold with someone telling you to ting 000 if emergency.then you go to hold and someone tells you to listen to the options and then press #, back onto hold for 3 or 4 repeats of "we are busy" then you get an answer but then to be told you can't make an appointment without your referral being triaged by someone in a few days and then they will ring you with a time. WTF Never accept that, I kept ringing this one place every time I got the press this #. Hang up and dial again, get through then lay it on the line with your old voice   and bingo you are listened to and they feel sorry for you..Works every time. Plus for 3 times I rang the specialists rooms I had someone unable to be understood I finally got an Aust speaking person and it was with her I had success.Brian is improving nicely now and enjoying his holiday in the yard and so am I. Keep out of this filthy weather Shirley and Deborah, Bowls and kilns can wait (just like housework) Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Good evening, thought I better correct my good morning post, we certainly received the severe very strong winds later today, waves ripping across the lake & the wind was freezing 🥶
Thinking I will miss bowls again tomorrow, 15c predicted & wind chill 11c, no sense playing social bowls in the predicted weather.

Good night 💤💤
Shirley & Bruce.

It was big time windy here last night, during the day and started out a bit the same tonight ... but I think it seems to have run out of puff at the moment.

To cold a crap to do any Winnie stuff today, Evilbays says the ignition coils should arrive tomorrow, so I'll get into that task if they actually turn up.

The hot water service was supposed to arrive between today and the 30th, check the tracking and it hasn't even left the warehouse yet

Hi Dot, your mate is just not in a great place for her own mental safety, is my opinion. I am sending her my positive vibes and hopefully, someone will be reasonable. xxxx

Shirley is so right about the freezing windy weather. I reckon her bowls would ice to her fingers if she tried to play. Stay warm inside is all I can offer.

Our caravan is still gracing the grass at the repairers. Not happy, but we are in no place to get anything done any quicker. They have people with vans that were booked in for service and they get priority, or so they are saying. It's starting to feel like yet another nightmare. They have had the van for three weeks and I reckon the job will take a few hours at the most, but they are stringing it out.

The winds are so strong that we keep hoping that our neighbour's tree will fall down now, while the van is not in the yard. No such luck. The big branch that fell down has left a bald spot in the tree, so the winds can get through it now without more dropping branches...but we live in hope.

All that was done here, was very little. I slow cooked a leg of lamb and that will give us a few no worries meals. The veggies were delicious.

Might be time to look for another repairer. Give a call to the repairer that has it at the moment and tell them that you can see they are obviously too busy to do the repair on your van and you are sorry that the NRMA put the added pressure on you, but you are about to call the NRMA and give them an earful and demand they pick the van up and take it to a repairer who isn't over booked ...... I think that will have the desired effect, they will lose their preferential repairer classification if they p*ss you off any further because you are going to give the NRMA an earful about using a repairer who is far too busy to actually make the repair ...... they will suddenly have found the time and tell you it is in the shop now being repaired at the very moment and should be ready to pick up in the morning .......
If you don't get that response, then ring the NRMA and give both barrels ..... one for us as well, we are rapidly approaching 12mths since the house fire .... and we have yet another service agent who is spinning the same B/S we have heard from all the others ....

I think it's time we put a bomb under them as well .....

Dot, naughty sending the poofs off    Enjoy your time in the warm bus, hoping the painting is going well. xxxx

Terry, yes I agree with you. I plan on ringing both the insurer (APIA) and the caravan place tomorrow. I will start with the insurer and go from there. We don't really need the van for a couple more weeks, but it has gone way too long for us to be happy with the lack of service. On Monday the van company claimed to be having trouble getting a wheel that matched the other side. We have already had that problem, to the point where the tyre company took the wheel off the spare tyre and used it's wheel for the van. That wheel has gone off into the marshes and bogs at Hexham, so we have no chance of recovering the very same wheel. I gave the caravan mob permission to buy a wheel that is similar to the other side. It's a single axle van. How often would I be looking at both wheels to compare them at once? We are both in the realms of just being pissed off with the whole thing.

Today we went to visit the knee surgeon at Gosford. She agrees with the physio, that the bones are all in the right places and the problem is tendonitis that has been a long running pain in the knee. She gave the suggestion to use a more gentle exercise and to use good old voltarin cream when in pain. I think I should buy shares in that company. Voltarin has been in our cupboards for a very long time and whenever it has been needed it has saved lives.
We had a late pub lunch after the seeing the doc. That was yummo and then on the way home, we called into aldi. Apart from the weather still being icy, we have had a reasonably useful day.

Crickeys, I'm having enough trouble walking and handling stairs, running has been out of the question for a very long time ;)

Voltarin comes in an arthritic friendly tube with an easy open top .... for a reason, it should come with each pension payment once you reached the aged pension or as soon as you end up on a disability pension ...... the 12 hr one is the go .... not even sure they still sell the other one ..... I get at least 2 hrs, sometimes up to 3 hrs relief with the 12 hr stuff 8-)
