Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all,

Head is still at head place. Needs a bit more work than initially thought. Thurs morning is the new date.

Nose is getting better.

Josh bought a car yesterday, subject to a few checks. Little red Ford Festiva, spotless, 22,000ks. Looks like this.

SCRUMPTIOUS breakfast this morning: field mushroom (large!) & bacon on toast. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ†

SWMBO done good!

Field mushrooms are like Barramundi. 🐟
Wild caught is much more tasty than farmed version.

Good morning afternoon everyone. It a nice sunny day here now. Our wind and rain has buggered off for a while now, I hope. We had 90mm all up since Sunday. Looks like the Central Coast is going to cop it again. Rain bomb? Whatever they want to call it.
I've been trying to organise a couple a tyres for the Tilta trailer this morning. Tomorrow, hopefully.
Jon, is Josh's new car the same model as the one Lucas has?
Ray, glad you enjoyed brekky. You couldn't get me to eat a mushroom at the moment. Too much negatitive publicity.
Stay safe and dry, all those down south.
How's Carol feeling today Bernie?
Cheers

No, Lucas has the Focus. Bigger and faster. 14.1 quarter mile.

Fiesta: 14.8

The best I ever got out of the Datto 1600 was 15.9 at Calder. After that, a LSD went in but I never measured it.

I have had a couple of Dr appointment over the last week and all sorts of tests carried out trying to find the reasons for my aches etc along with my few cases of transient instantaneous amnesia. I have had MRI and CT scans but no brain problems. GP has carried out a memory test which I passed with a score of 28/30.
However, osteoarthritis has been found in my shoulders, neck and hips/thighs and this, apparently, is the main reason for the aches and pain.

But, life continues.

All mushrooms are good eating, some have an interesting after effect, some not quite so interesting and some get the interest of the coroner ..... but they have a very bitter taste, so they need to be mixed in with other ingredients to disguise the taste .....

Have you tried the red ones with the white spots ;)

Terry, we used to look for the brown ones with the little gold tops. Gave some to our boss once. He didn't show for work for a few days.
Jon, I know how much it costs to go fast. Best I ever got from my Torana was 12.9 at Calder, but that was with a high speed diff.
It's always fun, til it's not. I went to too many funerals when I was young. Cars today are much safer.
Cheers
