Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Travel safely David, hope you find Terrie’s Mum okay.

On my arrival home from bowls today I found we had 4 goats visiting :o posted same on our local FB site, no one has claimed ownership, they have collars on their necks :?

Update, fellow on the local site has just collected his goats, after considerable entertainment for us watching him & my g’son tether all 4   wow, they are stupid animals.

Wow Shirley well done to you and the girls and esp in the freezing weather. We had one hell of a night last night, the wind was rocking the bus for real and the rain was sounding like a train on the roof. G and I finished clearing out the bedrooms ready for the carpet man tomorrow. After a couple of days of it drying out we start putting everything back and then we move everything out of the tiled areas for him to come back. No more contact from the International Spine Clinic. have they got the hint? Thanks David for disappointing me re the power outage  bugger. Riverlander, great news about Faye and her latest check up of a clear result :D .David I hope the MIL is ok. Off to the shower now then to watch the BOB's from a nice warm bed. Brian is off to the vet for his check up and his sneezing episodes. Expecting lots of rain tomorrow so they say. How's the nose Jd? Caravan repairs progress Deborah??? Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Hope the bus isn't rattling and rolling too much Dot. I can just imagine a certain little hairy face, pushing is way into your bed. xxxx

Shirley, well done mate. That is one heck of an effort. The weather today is just as unpleasantly cold and horrible as the last few days. Were the goats escapees from the man who hires his goats out to clear paddocks? Seems like he has a pretty busy business.

The caravan saga continues Dot. Here's the latest.
Our son has been helping us to find the best wheel/tyre combination to buy. Just to be sure, he asked us to go to the van today and get better photos of the wheels than what the caravan people had sent, in response to my asking for the correct number from the tyre. Not only were the photos almost impossible to read the printing, the numbers, once deciphered were not right. Not only did he want clear pics, but he wanted to check the
"newer" specs plate from when we had the van lifted. He is being over cautious to make sure that we have the best wheels and tyres possible and to be sure that we are legal.

As soon as we saw the van, the reasons for the weird numbers in their pics, that were not right became obvious. There were still three spokes left on the hub, so the place had fitted a very incorrect weight rated wheel comb onto the studs, to make it easier to drag the van around. They then sent off photos of the wheels to the insurance with their assessment. If the insurance mob were even a bit alert, they would have denied the claim, because the wheel that is now on the van is illegal for that van.

With all of our son's recommendations, we then took the papers off the Bob Jane. The manager who came to help us was very knowledgeable. He could tell us exactly the right things that agreed with son and heir's notes. We only gave him the specs plate photo, to see what he came up with. It all matched up with the things we were told to buy. The manager had a few words with our son on the phone to reassure him that we had it right and that all is well.
Tyres will be delivered to shop tomorrow pm and we will collect them and get the to the van early Thursday. I did try to get a plan from the receptionist at the caravan place to have the van finished by end of next week. I also believe that pigs fly in space, but it was not a promising reply. "it will take what time it needs"

night all xxx

We made it down to Mulwala just after 8pm. It was a shocker of a day for travelling. Was windy enough to blow the milk out of your tea, then after we went through Sydney the drizzle started. Only got worse, the closer we were to Albury.
The MiL is OK, I think. She is having issues with her hearing aids. That explains a few things. :!:
Well done Shirley, good effort team. It wasn't much of a day for bowls.
Deborah, I hope those clowns at the repair place can get their act together now.
I'll be off further south later today.
Cheers

I'm down at a mates place in the Strathbogie Ranges tonight, on the way to see my son and grandson tomoz. It's rather cold, wet and windy here. Storms coming so I'm led to believe.
Not the best time of the year to be visiting the southerners, but it will be worse in late July, August.

Dot, you might find that gremlin that keeps pinching your posts and smack it on the bum. Hope you are still warm in the bus. xxxx

Today was one of those days where catching up to get jobs done wasn't going to happen.

Our tenant has been buying so much water because her water supply is bad. It's the same bad water that we have and we have filters on our taps,so today the plumber came and did all the fitting of water filters for her supply. The previous tenant drank the water, but she was possible too sozzled to know what she was drinking.

I had barely finished paying the plumber when the doorbell rang. The gent who owns the boat that nearly, sank came with a fist full of money. He has been paying a fortune for plastic tarps to protect the boat and they dont last long. When I received an email from the Aussie Gardener mob with cotton tarps on sale, I printed it out and put the note into his letterbox yesterday. He doesn't use computers or credit cards, so wanted me to order them for him. After I sent off the order, I suddenly felt worried. I do hope that the quality of the tar[s is up to scratch.

The tyre place rang too late in the afternoon, for us to go get the tyres. Tomorrow will be busy . Fetching the wheels and tyres and then delivering them to the caravan place. That will take up a fair bit of time. Just fiddling around with the tyre place is a pain, but at least they have the wheels n tyres in the shop now.

night all xxx
Deborah
