Terrie, can you use a little mirror and a torch, like we had to use back in the old days?
When you put the new plugs in, put a bit of soft rubber hose over the porcelain, long enough so it sticks out of the rocker cover enough to turn like a screwdriver.
Do you have access to a small compressor? Maybe you could try to blow the obstruction of of the way?
Cheers
David

I can't justify spending $70 for something I'd rarely use now I'm no longer do this stuff for a living, or even $30 and wait a week for it to arrive on evilbay.
I'm thinking it's maybe a bit of gasket material or a piece of cable tie that had gone hard and broke up when I was doing the work the last time.
It's always a balance between time, frustration and $.

Here's one for the books, the 10 coils complete with rubber plug sleeve and resistor spring, delivered, for $253.66. 10 new spark plugs, $37 ea and still don't know if the includes GST, so $370 to $407 for the 10 spark plugs :o NGK give the Iridium spark plugs a guestmated life span of 40,000 mile to 50,000 miles, and their laser series an expected life of 80,000 to 100,000 miles.
I even looked for them on Evilbay, $433 and not delivered until the 21st .....

I'm gunna be p*ssed if this doesn't make it run better

Even if they should have lasted for 100,000 miles, that's 161,000kms and it has 175,000kms on the clock so ...... The coils apparently also have a 100,000 mile life expectancy, I'm guessing they have never been replaced because they are still Motorcraft labelled on the tops of them. All but two of the plugs are Nippon Dismal standard type plugs, so they must have been fitted by who ever tried to find out why it wasn't running well, but couldn't be a*ssed to remove the LPG mixer so they could access the left hand front two plugs .....

Fix the LPG by replacing the leaking hoses and see if that makes it run better, that will determine if it's injectors ......

If that doesn't work, engine out and the Lexus V6 and 2 motor 2 speed L110 electric transmission in it's place. From there ...... that bridge is too far off in the distance to even think about ;)

If you start doing the Lexus conversion, do you think it will ever be finished in time to go for a holiday?

Yes, you are.

When would you like to not have to work on motors and start enjoying the holiday time more?.....
