Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Yes Dot I understood T1s words...so much that I didn't get under the motorhome when I got home from a drive to see if anything changed underneath..
Just so I didn't scare the tiny Japanese horses 😜
I have a light that comes on when I get to 97 ks...
And believe it or not...the Speedo is accurate... according to the GPS...
Main reason I didn't get under...I have buggered my back
So I'll have to be a bit careful for a while...
Nothing else went on
Except for the earthquake that hit midway between Gympie and Kingaroy...5.2...we didn't shake as we are on a floating slab...but others on stumps did... but it was loud sounded like two V10 winnys going by on full noise...felt as far away as Stanthorpe...
But you know what's next..it's bacon and eggs day in Degilbo 💖❤️
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
The mighty Winnie V10 is very smooth Bernie, maybe like a top fuel dragster as it launches on a sub 4 sec run .... :D

The sun has made a show here this morning, might be the start of a two day rain break .... we live in hope ....

  I seriously doubt it. Might hit 19's if you have a tailwind.
Irriot as Dottie would say, the vibration of the 5.2 quake .... I get told off enough by the navigator for launching off the lights in the MG4 ..... have to watch out for the speed camera on those type of traffic lights ... an EV tax as it's known in the EV community ..... standing start to over 60km/h in the width of a set of an intersection .... managed to stay under the limit so far .... although I think Margaret might have been caught the other day .... not on the launch, just a tad fast through the intersection in a 60km/h zone .... I bet I don't hear about that fine appearing in the mail  At least her points are safe, she has an SA licence and the motor traffic authority don't communicate between states it seems, even for car licences .....

A mate of my son's had one of those S2 Tesla's, the 2 motor version, back when they were available in Oz.
He used to claim it ran 10's at the Calder Street Drags. He wife banned him from driving it when he get up in the high points score. Last time I saw him, he was driving a HiLux.
On a slightly different note, can you get into the control program of the MG4? I just wonder if the gain setting is adjustable or configurable? In a convential inverter that is the basic control setting for how fast the frequency accelerates

 What you talking 'bout Willis  It has different drive modes that can be selected, normal, sport, snow, custom, eco.
In sport, I can feel my licence being drained from my wallet about the same pace as the battery gets sucked dry, in normal it is quick enough to get done for exceeding 60km/h if you take off quickly from the lights, by the time you reach the other side of the intersection, in eco it is a tad more sedate and the kms per charge increases ... haven't tried to set anything in custom mode yet .... taken me this long to figure out how to change the warning chime speed that goes off when you exceed that speed ... it was at 60km/h and it really p*ssed Margaret off .... especially when I told her it was the car complaining about the way she drives

It has certain features that you can't permanently disable, like lane keep assist, lane departure warning and driver alert sensing. The last one is a real PITA because it will do a flick left or right to set off the lane departure alert, if you don't pull it back, it tries it again after a min or so, if it doesn't see any movement of the steering wheel, it determines you have gone to sleep or died and goes into safe roadway exit mode and pulls up on the side of the road .... but it can't read "clearway" time signs and decide to park you in a busy lane of traffic flying up the lefthand lane .... decided testing that feature should not be attempted on a busy highway heading into the city during peak hr

You can select what functions and what doesn't in the menu, but each time you turn the car off, it resets to the default mode .... so I just put up with it now and give it a mouthful if it does it too often.
The adaptive cruise control is great ... most of the time .... unless you forget you have the cruise control set at 110km/h for the freeway, change out of a slow lane into a clear lane at the traffic lights and it takes off like a cut cat trying to get back to the 100km/h as you approach the red light :o It also gets scared if it see a big twuck coming the other way on a bend and does the whole emergency stop to avoid a head-on crash ... scares everyone in the car and really keeps anyone following on their toes ;)

Morning all.

It's Monday. I'm off the Mundi and Terry is off to Mannum.

Good luck Terry.

Rained a bit last night. Rained a bit last night. I hope the camp is dry.

Good morning everyone. We are packing up today and moving to maybe Nagambie. No rain here but still rather cool. Yesterday was a lovely day, for a winters day in Victoria. We walked along the foreshore at Geelong, had fish and chips at one end and coffee and cake at the other.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Bet you can't guess what's happening in the Illawarra at the moment .... ok, wasn't too hard to guess that one, it's raining  Started around 5:30am, looked like it would be a short splash on the radar, just on the edge of the coast and heading back out to sea .... that all changed about 30 mins later, it changed it's mind, went from a very light sprinkle to full on "good soaking rain" as the farmers would call it ..... that would mean it would soak Terry while he packed everything back in the motorhome and the MG4, dragged the trailer out onto the road, loaded the MG4 and tied it down, hooked up the trailer to the Winnie and .... yeah nah, a soaked Terry is not part of the plan

So, are you still parked up somewhere on the escarpment?
Or have you started to head back to Mannum, where it never rains properly.
Cheers

Still on the concrete driveway out the front of our friend's house, same spot as it's been since mid June  Prediction of rain at 85% for tomorrow and doesn't drop down to 50% until Wed lunch time .... till around 4pm, then back up in between 75% to 85% through till Sat, then it might be our less rainy day with only a 10% chance of rain through till Tuesday lunch time, then the cycle repeats .......
