Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Deborah when you are working in your lady shed is it nice and warm? The weather was nice all day here with the black clouds hovering but they passed quickly and the sun shined again. See on the news going on about pepper spray in Aust, Bugger the pepper spray I have a big can of Wasp spray if needed it sprays around 30 ft. Nothing done today either. G back to the dentist tomorrow. Lots of blossoms out now and it looks beautiful on a sunny day. Watching the Stephen Colbert show and he really gives the ginger ninja a roasting. Rang my NZ girlfriend tonight (3hrs and 20 minutes) Poor bugger is so battered and bruised with her bro and his corrupt lawyer, Seems no one can ask questions about your own case, the judges are not to be approached under any circumstances and that is not right. They can make mistakes and are not held accountable.Sue told me tonight she had paid her first lawyer over $620k. He is part of the problem because He took it upon himself to make a few decisions and did not get Sues permission. That effected her case badly. this has been going on for 8 years now.. Off to bed now take care everyone weather on or off the roads be careful and all sickies get well soon Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Deborah x
She can sue the previous legal person if he affected her case poorly as a part of doing things she hadn't given permission to do ..... they are insured for that sort of thing, might at least get some of her money back from them.....

You still overworking it Dot? Stay warm and rested mate xxxx
John, is there much to see in Hay? I remember peacocks roaming the streets and terrorising us, but not much else. T''was quite a while ago, so hope it's had a good change.
The weather started out sunny enough to hang out the washing. The black clouds rolled in almost as soon as the last peg was put on. The house is back to being a Chinese laundry. Tomorrow, much of it will get half an hour in the dryer, but so much of my stuff is not good in the dryer. I suspect that we are both so over this horrible wet weather.
Had to drive his nibs to the physio and the rain was persistent. She fitted him with a moon boot, but it was a bit too big, so he has to return for another fitting as soon as she has the right size delivered. pita.
He turned the kiln off when the sun was shining, but the rain has stopped me from even wanting to return to my shed. No wonder my sanity is at risk!
stay warm and dry out there,
night all xxx
Be sure to get the thingy that straps on under the other foot to balance the leg lengths, Margaret hurst her back as a result of Flinders Hospital not giving her the matching piece for the other shoe ......

A great day weather wise, Brian has slept all day G did ok at the dentist but needs more done. Naughty Norman was ummm doing his thing with his daughter a few days ago and today there was 2 eggs but they were removed stat. and Norman given a lesson on incest. BOB's start again in a few days Have you ever noticed how grubby your kitchen cupboards are when you really get to look at them? Think I might get the high pressure cleaner in to do them . Nothing much happening tomorrow, G has physio and that's it The lamb shanks were just so tender but still I had no taste, G said they were very tasty. Time to make more sausage rolls for the freezer, they are always handy to have on hand. Waiting for the Prof1 to start the trip home and what adventures they have. Off to bed soon so take care everyone and goodnight x Goodnight 2foot6" x

Yes, Dot, my shed is warm with beautiful windows looking across the lake. I turn the air con up if it gets too cold, but it rarely gets used to warm the joint. The kiln firing is warm enough for me. Love the idea of the wasp spray, but it could also be used against you. Be careful with that stuff Dot. Sending happy safe vibes to your Kiwi mate. xxxx
Just heard an enormous clap of thunder and then the heavy rain started up again. An inch of rain over the last 2 days and it's back to being very wet underfoot.
We did have a few hours of sunshine this afternoon and I had some therapy time in my shed. The splat that I am rebuilding came out looking a bit boring. I have added some fancy rainbow flowers and extra lumpy bits to give it some texture and returned it to the kiln for more fusing time. I have sold a couple of blue sculptures lately and still have a blue one for the stall, so it's time for a predominantly red one. Once the big kiln was set up to fire the splat, I got to work in the old square kiln. It's taller, so does sculptures better. The shelves were all sorted to support the glass above a holey framework. The holey mold was made, very messy job. Then the mosaic of layering the bits of glass had to start. A flat piece of clear glass and then layers of different coloured scraps were piled on top of the clear. I have not done it this way before, so time will tell. A layer of transparent deep red, followed by a layer of white, a layer of yellow another layer of deep red followed by a layer of red and white patterned glass pieces. It looks like enough glass, but until it has been sent through the heat, I won't really know. Every sculpture is different, it's art. Maybe it will get fired up tomorrow. Can only fire one kiln at a time for fear of overloading the system.
Deborah you do know we need to see your glass blobs ? Still no rain here so it was another sunny warm day just right for 3 loads of washing. More shelves being cut out for the kitchen cupboards. Nothing happening tomorrow but found a new op shop not too far from home so might take a drive Had an incoming call and as I was about to answer it a notice came on at the top of the ph "suspicious number" so I just hung up and deleted & blocked the number.Seems the bums of this world are now attacking the phones. I had some Baileys fudge tonight and it was sort of nice, the smell was really nice Hows the caravan saga doing Deborah? HTFFBO told me that both she and Paul are doing OK Going to be 20deg tomorrow or so they say. Watching the yank show "Botched" what is wrong with those yanks and plastic surgery? a woman wanted bigger boobs so after 4 more boob ops she has ended up with the 2 good surgeons and the boob job has been much improved. But why do these women want those HUGE things ? they look revolting. So now I have had my yank rant I shall say goodnight to everyone x Goodnight Riverlander x

It started raining quite heavy here about 9pm, that type of rain that means the gutters would be overflowing ..... that was two hrs ago and it has just kept belting down .... now it is getting heavier
I very much doubt I'll be able to get the trailer off the front lawn tomorrow, last I looked, it is just a river of water running over the lawn ..... glad we aren't in a tent

Dot, once the glob is ready for viewing, I will share....promise. It's interesting that the phone company can tell you the number might be suspicious, but why even let the damn thing ring? They should just auto disconnect and not be annoying you. xxxx
Terry tells the truth. The rain tonight is gutter filling stuff. It's been raining so hard that we turned the tv off. We couldn't hear it over the rain until it was so loud that it was uncomfortable. Our roof is cement tiles and the patio and dining room have metal sheeting. The noise was huge and it is pouring as I type.
We had some sunny times today, so I wandered to my shed and had some fiddling time. The flat splat looks good, so it's back in tonight being slumped into a sort of bowl shape.. I need to be sure of having a full day at home before I fire the sculpture. As I have made a full layer of white in the mix, the time needed at top temp may be different to normal. White seems to take longer to get to melting point. I want to be there to either turn the kiln off or add more time at top temp depending on when the legs drop to the floor of the kiln.
The caravan mob are saying that the wheels are on, but the mechanic has to return to finish some things yet. He didn't arrive today ( at least not before I rang at 3pm) and said he would be back tomorrow...pigs are flying above us as I type. I wont believe that the van is done until I see it in the rear view mirror as we drive home. That's why I am hesitant to start the sculpture from it's frying time in the kiln.
Deborah interesting that the "mechanic" is not there everyday. I like the wasp spray because it squirts a good distance giving one time to maybe get to a safer place where as a baseball bat is easily taken away from and used upon ones self. Hope never have to use it but these days you never know. How are the bottle platters going? I finished a bottle of oil today and I thought the green could look nice. I had another weird message on the phone tonight "Warning: Suspicious Calling Pattern'' 0480856917. ?? Thinking about our members that are having a tough time right now we are all thinking of you. I'm going to say goodnight now as it's an early start tomorrow, taking G man for his CT guided jabs. Take care everyone both on and off the roads (like Prof1) Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Swisslulu x

Dot, please do not save me any bottles. I am inundated with strange bottles from around the area and they are not selling very well at the moment...then again nothing can sell if I'm not at an event, ggrr. I think you would be fine with your wasp spray. You would be able to run faster than I could. xxxx
Today we had a call from the caravan sheisters. The van will get washed tomorrow and be ready to be collected by 1pm. As long as the rain isn't too heavy we will be there early. They haven't had a mechanic on site since last March and just work with a local bloke who comes in when he has time. Then we got a report about the inside of the van. A few door latches need replacing (telling us something that we already know) and then the "ariode" is due to be replaced. Weird that she didn't have a clue about anodes and she is meant to be the manager?? That is very suss, as his nibs replaced the anode in early May. It's on the calendar for an annual replacement. Will do some investigations there, but he probably didn't even have a proper look. Hoping that the weather is ok to fetch the van, but it will have to stay on the street. Our backyard is already a quagmire, so no van or truck will drive on the grass this week at least.
Deborah talk to them about how long the repairs have warranty and if they gave the van a wheel alignment. No use setting of on a trip and scrubbing out tyres quickly.
Dot what phone company are you with as I have never heard about txt that you are getting.
