Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Totally agree with what RnB has posed here, on both counts.

I'm with Telstra and all I ever see is "suspected spam" come up on the screen.

I like the wasp spray because it squirts a good distance giving one time to maybe get to a safer place where as a baseball bat is easily taken away from and used upon ones self. Hope never have to use it but these days you never know. How are the bottle platters going? I finished a bottle of oil today and I thought the green could look nice. I had another weird message on the phone tonight "Warning: Suspicious Calling Pattern'' 0480856917. ?? Thinking about our members that are having a tough time right now we are all thinking of you. I'm going to say goodnight now as it's an early start tomorrow, taking G man for his CT guided jabs. Take care everyone both on and off the roads (like Prof1) ;) Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Swisslulu x :D
They will try anything to get you to click on the number, then they can add it to their list of suckers who reply to nonsense, and sell it to the real scammers .....

Still get the random Chinese recorded message that has been running for yrs. I believe it is aimed at Chinese nationals to pay money to keep their visa current or it will be cancelled and they will be jailed as illegal persons on Australian soil ... or something like that .....

I enjoy the ones that say they can save me money on my power bills, they have a whole story they have to get out before they will listen to what you say ...... "You can put $20 dollar back in my pocket ... that what you say" That gets them real excited and they promise even more ..... "If you give me $20 every electric bill, I be happy with that" then I let them rave on a bit more, then the ask who my energy provider is "Depends, either the sun or where ever I plug in" there is always a long pause at that point, then they ask me who I pay for my electricity "Sometimes caravan park, but not very often, offer money to people when we stay in their driveway, but very few will accept it" another long pause ... where do you live? "In a motorhome and we travel around Australia" clunk goes the phone ..... Seems to work better than just saying no thankyou or hanging up, if they want to waste my time, it's only fair that I waste their time

You are safe from bottles Deborah it's just when I was putting the bottle in the rubbish I thought of how that colour would look. T went into the telstra shop to show them that weird message I have had x 2 and he said it was some safety thing already in the phone to stop scammers, he said they can't get to speak to you so don't bother trying to try so that was the answer to that. I might go back into the shop again next week and get another person to see what they say about it. Picked up my swish Elton John reading glasses now I have to get used to them being just for reading after having bifocals  . BOB's back on tomorrow night ;) I have just had pudding, crepes with mixed berry jam and a good slurp of cream yummo. The crepes are from Aldi. Deborah that caravan repairs place sound extra shonkey I would also be asking for the parts they replaced but I think they may tell you they have to keep them for a certain time but ask anyway, also get pics that shows the date and time on the pics. Saw on the tv showing the floods in NSW reckon Prof will ever get out of there? Too cold and wet for Shirley to be out there playing bowls for sure. Off to a warm bed soon so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Darryl x :D

Nuffin on TV worth my time atm, and the ABC NEWS24 seems to be on a loop, so I did a most unusual thing: hit the ‘OFF’ button.
I’m midway through my current book, at a new chapter. So that seems like a good point to close up and hit the electric blanket. 🛌
Goodnight Dottie, T1 & Riverlander — wherever you & Faye are — and it’s goodnight to everyone from him.
😁
Regards & God bless,

Dot, you don't like rats and snakes? How many men have you known to fit into those categories? Just my evil thoughts there  Yes I have lots of photos of the caravan place etc. They didn't offer the dead parts,(I didn't think to ask) but they returned the wheel that was on the van when we took it in. It has an almost new tyre on it that they could have sold. So happy with that. xxxx

After 11 weeks and 2 days, the van is home and it feels good. As Shirley has told you about the greens being saturated, our back yard is also super squishy. Caravan is staying out on the road in front of the house, until the backyard is a bit more firm. Wouldn't take much to make a huge mess of the grass at the moment. We have been promised sunshine next week, so it may happen soon.

The whole saga of the van has taken most of our time and energy for the last (almost) 3 months. I have put in a huge complaint with suncorp insurance and it was with much interest that the van place had a lot of empty spaces in their yard, so not as many people being taken for a ride.

The prof may be buried in deep mud by now. He may need to be towed out of the yard. ;)

Robert the van has had as much of a wheel alignment as the axle allows. Being a single axle, we have had it to the truck place for alignment in the past and they said it has nowhere for possible alignments to happen. So it's just hope like hell that this is all good. Thanks for that thought.

NIghty night xxx

Early goodnight. We are at Coonamble NSW for the night. Will have a short day tomorrow to Cobar and the Broken Hill the next day. Can see where there has been a lot of water around up here as the country is see flat. Some very good crops around and the country looks good unlike at home. Evie is still being very good for an old lady. Time for a port. Goodnight all. Cheers John

John, just be aware that you'll be heading into all the Mundi Mundi traffic heading home. Check your accommodation plans and keep the tank topped up. There were reports of hours waiting to get fuel at Cobar and the likes heading in.

No worries. It's not just a few vans.

The camping area is a semi circle, with a 1km radius. 2km diameter. 4x12 meter camp sites.
