Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Why is the shy threatening Dottie?
Margaret has her foot appointment on 9th next mth, walking is still a limited event, but no walker frame or crutches required now, so much better.

We are still at the rest area at Wyalong, nice spot, thought the ground might dry out so I could crawl under and fix the 12v cables that have dropped down, but at around 5:30pm, it started raining again

Glad we have the MG to plug into so we have 220vac power with very little solar installed at the moment to recharge the house battery.

Good morning.
The Sun's shining in Queensland Terry 😁🌞
We done Carol's appointment with the dart 🎯 thrower,
Then...as my mate rang and said he was at Gumlodge camp at Howard...we decided to go and have a visit...
We camped there with him and his wife 17 months ago.
They are heading to Monrepose (spelling) to see the turtles... anyhow we went to lunch at the Howard pub.. all meals excellent... after swapping as many lies as one does we left for home....my chainsaw was waiting 😁😁
Sooo I'll be assembling it this morning...
Nothing else planned for today yet.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Mornin’ all!
We have old friends visiting in their caravan overnight last night.
They’re on their way home after wintering in Townsville.
He’s not in the best of health, dependent on an oxygen accumulator 24/7, with a small bottle slung under the seat on his wheely-walker for outside excursions.
All went well with the catch-up session and dinner last night… until they retired to their van for the night.
As he’s on oxygen, they have modified their van to all-electric. They can’t have any naked flames 🔥 in it. That eliminates gas cooking and gas or diesel heating.
They were plugged into our outdoor 15A plug, running the accumulator and a small electric heater.
Inside, we were running an electric heater & TV.
When I put the (electric) jug on for a cuppa, we lost the lot — and so did they!🫢
I didn’t realise the 15A plug was hooked up to our kitchen circuit breaker!🙄
A trip to the fuse box and all was restored in a minute. We turned our heater off, and oxygen supply returned. 👍
After our trip, I’ll get our local sparky to move the 15A plug to my PlayPen circuit…
When we have overnight visitors plugged in I don’t mess about in the shed. 👍
Apart from that excitement, we’ve had a good old catch-up, as we have not seen this couple in a few years. 😁
Today is Farewell Day, then I’m off to Men’s Shed.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Good morning everyone. Its fine and sunny here right now, but showers are expected, apparently. Might get to 14⁰ if we're lucky.
Yesterday was much the same. It must be time to head home, the cold is starting to really get to me.
My job for today is fix the sliding door in the house, it's dropped a tad.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Morning all rain over night and looks like some during the day, certainly was cold but warm in the bed.

Waiting for the roller door servicing, had to cancel last week as the bloke had the flu.

Now the surgery is finished for a while I contacted my back bloke about the nerve blocking injections. No answer left message but no contact.
Called again yesterday and reception checked he did leave a note to pass on. Require another form and she would send out, very abrupt and not pleasant to talk to. Antway a hour later had a call from the Flinders Private Hospital and first appointment available is 19/9 so all booked in. Will be nice to have it done as it is starting to affect me again.

All else well here so travel safe and keep warm cheers Robert

Sunny start to the day again, hope the puddles dry enough for me to crawl under and repair the 12v supply cables that dropped down and wore through on the tailshaft, this Newell hwy tests everything to see how well it's secured
On to Hay today, after I checkout this replica mine top thingy at the Wyalong rest area/free camp .... seem there are lots of things to look at here ....

Terry, were you at Wyalong or West Wyalong. Big difference in the size of the town. If it's West Wyalong, the showgrounds are not too bad. Good clean showers and toilet, dump point etc.
Was $25 pn a month or so ago. Less for no power. Decent feed at the RSL, reasonable prices. Obviously you will have gone past there by now. Maybe remember it for next time.
Cheers
