Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Do you really think I'm as silly as I look?
Sometimes, it's best not to ask a question.

Sometimes, it's even better not to answer the question.

I wondered where that would go

Come on, admit it, you were stuck for words ;) So many opening:
"I doubt anyone could be that silly"
"Never judge a book by its cover"
"One should always trust their first instincts"

Why keep my NSW heavy Combination licence?
It gives me a NSW address for registering the motorhome in NSW for $0 as a pensioner
it costs $0
points interstate do not track back to my NSW licence
and the most important one .... I can remember the number  Even at the Services NSW office, I rattled it off adding that it was short enough to remember, one of the advantages of getting in early, they both laughed when I said the licence number these days would be more like a VIN code
If you have ever had to produce a VIN code for your vehicle in order to get parts, you will know exactly what I mean, they have to work with them every day ....

Evening Dot, see you later no doubt xxxx

Thanks for the explanation T1, very interesting.

We hooked up the van and drove down the freeway to Western Sydney. Found the showgrounds no drama but found a campervan group are all happily parked in our usual spot. We drove around for a while and were finally helped by a workman and now we are settled in, until Monday.

Our hopes are for the promised sunshine as we seem to be having dark clouds follow us all the way. As we are right across the road from the Richmond air base, the overhead noise can be quite loud. So far it's fairly quiet. Hoping for a profitable weekend.

night all xxxx
Deborah

Well another useless day, slept till 3pm with Brian by my side. Cough started to break up but I think the Vicks rub is the best to use, even helps better than the rub on pain creams. "Do try it" Have GP appointment tomorrow, really don't feel like going but better rather than getting growled at. I watched the 9/11 show tonight so gut wrenching. Xmas already Deborah? blimey how good are you? My old neighbour from NZ that was heading back there to live has done it all within 3 weeks , he has a job within his profession of Caravan and MH repairer in a posh area on Nth Island (beach) has a 2 br 2 story unit and got a car and better wages than Vic and cheaper rent as well, so he is a happy little sandboy. Now have someone over there to look out for MH there  .I am off back to bed now so goodnight everyone :D x Goodnight Bernie x :D

No rain & sunshine is predicted for the weekend, 19c- 21c hopefully Nigel is correct Deborah & you have many, many people visit & very profitable sales, fingers crossed.

I’ve been busy Spring cleaning, amazing the soil that comes of the inside of your windows & with all the constant rain even found mildew to be removed :o good getting it all done while I’m not bowling.

Wow Dot, I thought that I slept in :D rose at 9am, the day disappeared so quickly & it was time to cook dinner, hope you’re feeling better tomorrow maybe the Dr will prescribe antibiotics.

Good night all, sleep well 💤💤💤

Dot, the BiL has just got back from doing an outback trip.
He wandered up to Emerald then went out to Mt Isa, watched the rodeo then went up to Karumba and across to Cairns. He reckons the roads are as good as he's ever seen them. But, he did that trip in a Toyota Prado, not towing anything.
Which way do you think you would do the travel? Would you go up through SA and NT the across to the east or up through central NSW and Qld?
Probably should have said , he started and finished from Hervey Bay.
Cheers
