The latest up date is 16th of this mth, but I'll believe that when I have it in my hands.

Got the quote for the 2 x 40 ft containers and 12mtr x 12 mtr double truss dome, that was actually cheaper than the single truss dome because the freight from Qld pushed it up $440 more than the double truss unit from Shepperton that I will drive over and pick up in the truck ...... then the fun part of putting it together, but it should give me 6.8mtrs clearance in the centre of the dome, so high enough to walk on the Winnie roof with a harness attached to the truss above me to gently lower me to the ground if I fall off the Winnie roof .....you know the drill, just a bit slower than free fall

https://www.qualitydomesdirect.com.au/p ... ce=bochure 7th photo shows how I plan to mount it, on the outside of the containers so it provides a roof over the containers as well .... still waiting on the "better price package deal" if I include the end wall in the initial purchase

Terry, when you go over to Shepparton to pick up the dome for your 'soon to be enclosed work area', try to allow yourself at least a couple of hours to visit the Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE) at Kialla, which is really the southern suburb of Shepparton.
There is an amazing collection of cars, trucks, motorcycles etc.
It also a massive collection of all things Furphy, and a bunch of other interesting things. I have spent more than a few hours there, looking at the exhibits, which are ever changing. Some of the volunteers on-site have had an interesting past, and you could spend more than a little while bench racing with them.
Cheers

The trip to Shepperton will have to include a call in at Mt Bruno to pick up the battery and a few other things for the Lexus that have now become available since his son's second Lexus is now written ... not his fault this time, T-boned so the other drivers insurance company gets the wreck  bugga

As this will need to be a one day trip, there won't be enough time for sight seeing unfortunately, but I will keep it on the to do list for sure.

T1,
Any projection on when the Winnie might be mobile and functional again?
And I don’t mean for you to pluck a random date out of thin air… 🙄

It was Christmas time today, the Temu parcel arrived and I got to find out what I bought for myself

This was the prize item, https://www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs= ... e_sn=10045

A see through adaptor for the macerator pump 8-)

Love the mesh screen for the flushing water, you don't want any bits coming through the flush water to clog up the pump eh

And the item installed, after the initial test run, I guessed you wouldn't want a video of the actual test :D

How is that for the mods of conness ;)
