A You Tube video that might be worth watching

Post by T1 Terry »

I know this is an AI generated video, but it does put forward some interesting ideas regarding just how Australia is fairing in the global picture.
Many Australians seem to think Australia is the punching bag for every other nation, but this video says different https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvyhLgIlsPg

Brian (Homeless) will identify one part in the video, I believe he was instrumental in the early days of its development ......

Another part sounds a lot like a few of the team Margaret worked with back in the CSC days that moved on into more serious cyber security because of something they did as part of their job caught the attention of much higher level people and they were head hunted .....

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Gee Terry I was not in Ai. I did work for a rural software developer that was way ahead of the others in 1980's where we had an inergratef system that combined financial, production eg cropping etc as well a pigery module and couple stud modules, all able to share and combine data so the farmer knew where his money went or come for Too complicated to explain here
I also wrote the specs for the loocomplete integration of the slaughtering software I was installing and supporting to enable the integration of our data to what the NLIS was gathering at the time
It would have enable the complete tracking from the animals birth to the consumption of the meat anywhere in the world. The new boss at the company considered I had over stepped my role and sacked me
NLIS liked what I proposed and came to sign up but when they found out I was sacked they walked out.😂 Couple months later NLIS tracked me down and offered me the position of head of devlopment but I declined as I wanted to retire. They employed another person to develop what I wrote and wrote around the old company and that software now is used around the world.I know this as my cleaners son got the job. Small world isn't
Anyway not Ai but possibly the start
If you are still readying I bet you must have found it boring reading. Ah well back into my little hole.

Aussies are quick to down play their own achievements and often don't realise just how clever some people really are.
They also tend to believe our Govt is slow when it comes to watching out what is in Australia's best interest ...... without getting political, one side has a better track record than the other ;)

I have no idea just how factual these You Tube videos are, I've watch one today that had the Kiwi flag images all over one article about a smart Aussie innovation ..... the US doesn't seem to realise that NZ never actually took up the offer to become an Australian state, so now we just take ownership of anything good that comes out of there
