Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
I had a day off 😁... couldn't get motivated... I'll see what I may or may not get up to today...
I had some stuff coming from AliExpress... only one small package... normally it comes Aus post... but yesterday came by courier 😑😑 they won't deliver to Degilbo..so I had to drive in to Biggenden to pick up the item... what was in the parcel was for Carol... I'll put up a pic. πŸ˜πŸ€—
Mate over the back rang me and asked me not to spray anything...he has just received a native bee hive...I don't spray anyway so no problem..my next door has one for me... but it's only been a few years since he said he will get it for me...he doesn't do things in a hurry 😁😜
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. We are in Venice now. Had a bit of a travel day, after a stopover for a bit of a tour of central Bologna . and lunch at a nice restaurant. We all had a kind of soup . that looed like little pig noses, but was pasta, and a type of parmy. Meat, prosciutto, and cheese. All followed by a type of vanilla slice for dessert. Big on flaky pastry , but not too much vanilla.
All in all it was yum. No garlic Bernie, you'd have liked it.
Not sure what the plan for tomorrow is yet, but I'm sure it will involve walking and maybe a boat.
Safe travels everbody, it's Remembrance Day today.
We're 9hrs behind here, so it's tomorrow for us.
Cheers
David

Bernie goes to the doc....

Doc: "Bernie, you need to vary your diet"
Bernie: "OK"

Gets home

Bernie: "Carol, the doc says I need to vary my diet"

Ummmm.... $40 for both eyes ...... I was paying the $500 a time fee for the first few yrs, but I did a few equipment repairs for him at no cost, so he does the consultation part at no cost, I just pay for the injection stuff used .....

When I flew back to Adelaide from Sydney, hired a car over here, flew back and paid that crazy price for the short trip between the airport rail station and the NSW govt rail station, then the full price for a train ticket back to Oak Flats, because I didn't apply for a concession fare a mth before I needed it  the cost was still considerably less than getting a persion I didn't know or trust in Wollongong to stick the needles in my eyes ....

I would have been blind in one eye within a week if it hadn't been for Dr Chan stepping up and seeing me and a number of other patience, well after the official clinic closing time .... and paying his staff to stay back as well, delaying his drive to the clinic in Port Augusta, a 4 hr drive on a Friday evening ..... I will always feel a debt of gratitude to him and have full trust in him ...... you really have to have full trust to allow someone to stick needles in your eyes every 8 weeks ....

Good morning.
Glad it's not me getting eye πŸ‘οΈ injections πŸ˜•
Yesterday was much the same as Monday 😁
And as I didn't finish doing bugga all I might finish it today πŸ˜œπŸ˜‹..
I bought a new complete awning for the motorhome yesterday via the internet.. and a bit of help from Bruce..
I rang a few places up... and they said they would ring me back with the details I asked for...I'm still waiting... don't people want to make money ??? unbelievable.πŸ₯Ί
So the first and only one that did ring got the order.
The new awning is two foot wider than the one on the motorhome...
Nothing planned for today... Carol has a visit to the doctor to get the latest results from the blood tests..
Plus her BP has been low... she's to ask about that...we have a BP machine...
Keep safe.

Morning all.

Bernie, being close to 3m, you'll need a permit for the motor home now. Maybe even a pilot.

But worse, it won't fit through a lot of gates.
