Bernie did you get the awnoing out of the track?
Some have screws thru it each end.
Some you might need to pull out the core... same as they put it in.

No Bruce it's grown into it... the core justs crumbles..
If I can get away with it I will leave the track up there.
Yes the two locating screws have been removed.

Can it be scraped out?... using something like a grout removing tool...?

I haven't tried that Jon...I thought it would have been easier to remove the track... but that's not a easy job neither .

Bernie, you've probably worked this out already, but you need to use the sailtrack that suits the size of your spline.

Yep... but if it's breaking down scraping out might be very easy and just a case of sliding the scaper up the guts....
