Good morning everyone. It's another copy and paste sunny day, with maybe a bit of a storm this arvo.
You're right Bernie, where did the week go.
I spent the first half of yesty trimming shrubs in the front yard, and the second half hanging lights and decorations on said trees.
Have a top day everybody.
Jon, are you home from your golf trip yet?
Eddy are the WA bushfires anywhere near you?
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Fires, smoke, pollution, rising global temperatures.
It's a fact of life!
We have fires everywhere up here at the moment but since the 'wet' has started the chaps are out burning madly. (Controlled?
Greens kick up about a few trees getting knocked over but tonnes & tonnes of smoke is ok?
For those who don't know, between Nebo & Mackay is mostly scrub country thru the Eton ranges.
Scrub = rain forest I guess?

Good morning everyone
Yesterday we had around 37°, a dry heat not combined with the humidity the East coast seems to prefer
- No David probably a half hour drive away, burning around Julimar Forrest - years & years ago use to collect firewood up that way.Eddy are the WA bushfires anywhere near you?

My body reckons it can remember every minute of the last 7 days ..... the mind is lucky if it remembers what I was looking for, or what I was doing that needed what I was looking for ...... but it seems to know when nap time and beer o'clock rolls around .... even gets it a bit early sometimes

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It's another bright sunny morning here on the GC. We had a 5 minute shower yesty, just enough to wet the grass. I doubt if it will trouble the rain gauge.
I put up a few more lights and had a cuppla beers, not much else happened here.
Totally appalled by the news about Bondi. Why do people do things like that?
Have the best day possible everybody. I'm off to work now.

Good morning.
We had a day off yesterday.. herself hit the spar a few times...it was a very warm and muggy day...
I changed a cuppla micro sprays in the green house I now have a better coverage ..
So not much achieved..
Carol will be off with some of the bingo ladies today for coffee... bingo has finished for the year.. and most of the ladies had won coffee vouchers..
I'm watching the NFL at the moment...
Keep safe.

Re: Good morning daily
My guest is shocked at how fast the weather changes here. Yesterday it was 23, then dropped to 13 in the late arvo, this morning when went for a walk, 7 and now 11 with a cold southerly wind with some showers coming and the grass and everything else is growing fast. Will have to do some slashing in the next few days otherwise it will become a jungle and could dry out fast if summer arrives and creates a fire hazard. Already they've had fires in the north, but we are lucky as we get lots of southerlies which keep things cool and blocks the northerly winds of Nth Tas. That's the advantage of living below the 40th parallel.
Interesting to watch the reaction of my guest to our wildlife, she loves seeing the wallabies other little marsupials and others, devils screaming at night put her off until took her outside with a torch and showed her where the noise was coming from. But was terrified when a huge 3m black tiger snake slithered past the front door and headed to one of the water pump boxes, the dogs just watched it through the wire screen door on their veranda. The guest raced inside saying there's a huge black snake near the dogs, told her to calm down it lives just past the house and was coming for a drink from the drip bowl in the pump box. This snake lives on the edge of the track going down into the valley and we see it quite a bit laying in the grass by the track, watched it grow from a little thing to now huge.
Today if the win drops, will try to finish the motorbike shed I'm building, no room in the big shed so building a new one for them and hope to get them into that in the next couple of days before we head off on a 2 week trip to Aus to show her a bit of the big island and how insane it is compared to peaceful Tas. Hope we don't run into any religious wars, which seem to have reached the shores of Aus and probably won't go away sadly.
Bernie, if you can't live your dreams, you haven't lived and as we only live once, one dream missed in my opinion is one lost life experience. It's not the quantity of life I seek, but the quality of life so I can experience and enjoy my life as m0cuh as I can responsibly. You seem to be doing that Bernie and I admire people who give it a go and change to the required circumstances of their lives. There's only one immutable law in the universe, which can't be overcome ad that's evolutionary change. Sadly lots of humans fear change and that's why we have so many ideological conflicts, fools trying to impose their fear of change on life and we see the results throughout our history as ideologies compete violently to force their illusionary delusions onto all life. Keep up the good work Bernie, live and enjoy your life as best you can with no regrets, same goes for everyone here, keep seeking and living your dreams as there's nothing else worthwhile.
My dogs are dreaming now, after a frantic play time down in the paddocks, the grass is so long the little bloke has to jump up all the time just to see where he is and where Bindi is. Luckily for Bindi the grass is so long by the time he makes it near her, she moves and he has to bounce through the grass trying to get to her. then she barrels him over and trots off, sweet revenge for all his harassment of her, as he's getting bigger every day and finally working out life here and what's required of him. Bindi is a great teacher and most of huis education is coming from her. Stay cool all.
