Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
I had another day off ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”
Cept for the usual stuff we do..
But it's become D day I'm off to Maryborough chasing the maroon paint colour... fingers crossed..
Then I will be able to experience what Terry has been going through with the awning ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ.
Yesterday hit 38... humid as and no breeze...๐Ÿ˜ก
And it looks like the same today...we had storms to the south of us yesterday arvo... but not a drop โ˜” here..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

I'm back ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜.
I think I've got a bit of Terry's disease...
Bloody wind came up... but not before I painted the front bit and one coat on the back section.

If the wind stops later I may get the back done... maybe.

Actually managed to get the last piece of sail track glued and screwed in place.

It appears the awning material has shrunk, it doesn't reach from one end of the sail track to the other, and not even close to one end of the drum to the other. So it's being stretched with the elastic cord and a ratchet strap looped around the roof bars and down to the towbar.

When the sun eases up a bit more, I'm hoping to start the spring winding part of the whole fun game, to see if I can get it to rewind and fold itself away ....

12 months Dot gave our daughter the last one from last years effort this afternoon. Some will go as presents and the daughter always manages a few during the year. Ended being a marathon effort this year because of our health. Finished the green tomato relish just before coming to hospital this arvo.
Cheers sleep well andbest to Mr G.
