Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning..
We get more rain on sunny day 😄 only 3mm and light misty falling from the sky as I write...
So maybe if the sun comes out I'll finish the painting..
That's today's agenda 😁.. But it's windy...so...
My roller has arrow's on it to help with direction of winding... plus the workshop manual has it as well....
I was waving Ray couldn't you see me 🤔
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

33 today, 36 tomorrow.

Summer is here. Yippeee. Gone on Saturday. 25.

I bought 4 new solar panels for the bus. Will replace the oldies in Jan/Feb time frame.
440w each. I'll run a strip up the middle of the roof. Thinking about how I'll mount them.

22* now with a predicted 40* today ..... I'm so excited to be getting roasted again today  Finish the coffee, find out what the yard guest has in mind for today and try to avoid it so I can get something done on the Winnie .... between questions mind you

The caravan inverter is in, wired up and working, so one off the list, still need to sort the cell balance, but not in this heat ..... and it will be even hotter tomorrow they say .... 17 days into summer, what will February be like ......

It now looks like we will travel to Balranald for the rego, then back here to empty the teenage retreat at the house block, have an appointment with the house builders Friday to start designing just what we want and for them to tell us we can't have that or something

We had misty rain till midday... and strong winds..
So not one iota.was done on the motorhome..
Today maybe ...
I went to one of the neighbours for our annual Christmas beer drinking 😁 and solving all the world's problems... amazing how easy it is 😂...
Today I hope to finish the painting and hang the other awning Arm....
The only other thing on today's agenda is to go to the doctor for the results of the blood tests from last week.

jd why are you getting new solar panels? Do they have a life span? Ours are 2x550w and are between 6-7 years old.

Good morning.
The last cuppla days have been cooler than earlier in the week.. didn't get to the 30s..
I had a trip to the doctor just to see the results from last week's blood tests... everything is normal... plus I've had a pain in my left wrist for the last three weeks he recons I have sprained it...so ice and Nurofen
The two awning arms are on and all going well the awning material will go on today... fingers crossed 🤞.
That's all that is planned for today...cept the normal stuff we do..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Dot they used to say that the panels were good for 20 -25 years and most probably are but the catch is that newer panelsoften put out a lot more power for a smaller surface area.
On the Oka we originally had four x 125w panels and they put out roughly 500 watts total, roll on about 10 years and Idecide to add some more and completley cover the poptop roof. I found that the space for a 125w panel was now very close to a new 200w panel was so rejigged mounts and fitted additional wiring to fit four 200w panels which increased the output to 800w in virtually the same space.
The other change in that ten years was that cost per watt went from about $3.35 per watt to $1 per watt so from the original panels costing $1600 for four 125w panels the four new 200w panels cost $800.
