Took it to the local tyre shop and before I could point out the real nuts the apprentice had ripped three fake nuts off with the rattle gun. (He should have learned after the first one!)
NOT HAPPY, JAN! 🤬
Tyre shop paid for replacement… which only came in sets of two — so I had a spare! 😁

Ray, Can you donate that spare nut? maybe to the prostate spare parts dept? 8-)

Dottie,
It wasn’t a nut I had spare, it was the full dress wheel-trim!
Gave it to the bloke who bought Girt.
A spare nut is nothing special… I have a 2kg coffee tin full of them. 😁
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Spent yesterday doing what I could to stop the wind Nigel sent from tearing the awning off the Winnie and the billowing sail effect from wearing through the support rafters. The nylon shade over the bedroom window didn't fare well, it eventually tore it side to side, just above the bottom rail ..... I have more of them, so not a big problem.

Today is a tad less windy, so, hopefully, I will get onto stair installation today .....

What about the wheels?

I guess this is one time you want them to fall off....

Oh, and the fridge? Gone cold on that idea?

The wheel removal can wait until the 1" drive 21mm socket arrives, the fridge has decided to return to operating status on mains power, so we no long have Margaret panicking that she can smell gas or something is burning after Sparky Dave's adventure .....

So that has moved further down the list of urgency ..... getting things ready to travel, and that includes rego in some form or another, it at the top of the list ..... the stairs are a fill in waiting for lights to arrive and this socket to arrive ......

Terry, what size rims are on your Winnie? 17.5", 19.5" or??
I wouldn't be too surprised if some of your front axle stuff is the same as I-beam F350, but not twin I-beam though.
Cheers

19.5, everything is very beefy looking, the Evilbay vehicle fit guarantee thing is selective regarding which kingpin kits will fit a Ford 2000 -2003 F53 motorhome chassis, and the listing does say it fits, exclusively refers to the F53 chassis, just different yrs, all have the V10 6.8ltr engine .... no idea if the engine weight or the distance it sits in front and behind the axle ..... they are monster engines .....
The Coyote 5.0ltr V8 in the 2021 series Ford makes more power and torque, but the complicated direct as well as port injection, quad cams with variable valve timing and cyl deactivation ..... seems to have resulted in an engine that is far less reliable long term milage wise .... but they sure pump out some power with a Wipple supercharger on top ......

Watched the cop show tonight where the fisheries police went to Saigon village NT(as called) and the ram shackled group of "houses" of the "crabbers" that are erected along the river for 10 mths of the year, so my question is if that is ok then why can't Terry live in his M/H until he can build a "proper" house where there is sewerage and things we HAVE to have in our houses?
