Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Up early and outside stacking more bricks and then I got the hoe out and scraping up the dead weeds along the driveway all ready for G to pick up and put in the spare bins ready for collection. So much to do and I am totally buggered. Before bed I will cook up the bucket of plums and another bucket of lemons to squeeze and freeze. Went into the bus to show G what needs doing and the amount of dust in there is horrific so a complete clean is coming up. Come on Nigel send some rain please as the ground is starting to crack. Yout wood pile is looking very healthy Bernie you lucky boy. Stay safe if on the roads. Another chat to HTFFBO this arvo they had been to the pictures and lunch for valentines day. She is looking forward to moving into her new home in a few months. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Martin aka Dapope x :D

Tomorrow is planned as a rest day Dot? Hope so, cause that will happen anyways mate. You are back doing damage to yourself...nag nag, slow down. Hope you do have some fun plans for some of this week, all work and no play... xxxx

Weird weather today we had rain on the street side of the house and the only water on the lake side was the lake. That was just mizzly rain on the front for most of the day. The temps are lower but the humidity is still up there in the 85%. We did a few things around the house, but after lunch we went on strike. Watched a bit of the winter olympics and fiddled around doing not much.

Tomorrow we are heading back into town (Newcastle) for the skin specialist to have another go chopping out a mole off my shoulder. The path results say that she missed some of it before Christmas, so it has to go now. Not looking forward to that one, but as usual, it has to be done.

Night all xxx
Deborah

As usual I slept in. ;) Deborah I have not been outside at all today. I did more plums and apples, so there is plenty in the freezer again. Watched a bit of the winter games and put washing away. Cooked G's tea and that's it. Nice day again but please rain. Off to bed now have been watching the Von Einham (spelling) and the family murders. What sick mongrels are out there. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Oh Dot, I would love to raid your freezer. Apples and plums from your own garden, sounds divine, yummo even. Hope you have a good day sleeping in tomorrow too. xxxx

Keith, hope today is a better one for you xxx

Today ran as planned. A trip into Newcastle for the skin lady to hack a bit more off my shoulder. That was done with no real problems (except paying for it of course, wounded bulls come to mind). I am really feeling the shoulder tonight, so I definitely know that she has had her little scalpel in my skin. The worst pain of course was the bill, we will survive that problem too.

We arrived at home with just enough time for me to get to our monthly progress meeting. As we plan to be away for the next two meetings, I thought I should make an effort. After a lot of catching up, we did get some good results. The grant for us to install a couple of pickle ball courts came in. so now we have the part of the netball courts to be painted over and another good spot that doesn't affect anyone is ready for the second court. So some good progress there. I hope it will be all finished before I return to progress in May.

That's all my excitement for the day
nighty night xxx

Good morning, happy forum people.
Rain last night, and now steady rain is falling, possibly for most of the day.
I'm still sleeping in a sitting up position. Flat on the bed (as they suggest) is most uncomfortable as I now only weigh 49.6 kg, and it'sall skin and bones, with no padding to cushion the "lumpy bits" where the T-7 & T-8 fractures are located. Thanks for the mention onthe forum folks.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning Dot :D

Deborah do you patronise the 4D skin clinic Belmont :? We go there all qualified dermatologists, several of my bowling friends recommended them to us.

Keith you must be skin & bones at that weight, understand your problem with getting comfortable you’ll have to try & eat more maybe put on a few kilos.

Same here, our Doctor at Murray Bridge does all the minor ones for us, for the serious ones, we have a specialist skin person who was the head surgeon at a major hospital and then did the smaller stuff when he moved to Mannum hospital, he removed the piece from my face to do tests on it .... turned out to be nothing serious ....
All bulk billed

My GP did a biopsy on the mark on my arm, rang me the next afternoon to tell me it was a melanoma & she had booked me into the melanoma clinic in Newcastle to have it removed.

Our area has a shortage of GP owing to that fact our surgery doesn’t do skin checks anymore, I’m sure if I asked their opinion on anything they would examine it & advice on further treatment if necessary, actually our last visit Bruce had a lump thing growing rapidly below his Adam’s Apple Dr advised to have it removed, we went to the 4D clinic turned out to be a bay cell cancer.
