Mouse n*ts in the scheme of things.

0.71 v 0.78 .... about 9% difference... about $8 "saving" if the credit card rate is accurate.

Personally, I'de use paypal. Much easier to sort out delivery issues than dealing with a bank.

AUD $89.57 including freight by credit card

Terry, let's go back to fundamentals.... Steps go up and down.
But don't T1's go "in and out"? ( a bit like his memory.

Finally tracked down why I couldn't find a white/clear reverse light lens, they are festoon bulb lights and haven't been made for quite some time ....

Yeah, the bank conned me as well, the price went from AUD$62.50 to AUD$89.57 and naturally, the GST is calculated after the bank gets it's cut, but it would have been calculated on the PayPal jacked up price, so and additional 10% of whatever the difference was ..... I hate having to buy anything out of the USA, there is always rip offs compounded on top of rip offs ..... the original USD price was $39.99, but when I checked the online statement, it was $89.57 taken out of the account

Back when the workshop was still functioning and Jerry still had his lathes and milling machine, he could have made the parts for me

Actually got started on the kingpin job. Right hand side first (because it has an awning over it) removed the brake calliper and one bolt from the calliper carrier ..... the other bolt will require the steering arm that passes through the spindle and attaches to the tie rod linking left side steering to the right side, to be removed, the steering stop rests up against the flat of the bolt.

All the parts in there are extra heavy duty, 24mm socket, breaker bar, pipe and a steel rock breaker bar to get enough leverage to get the only calliper carrier bolt I can get access to at the moment, even the calliper slider bolts were 16mm socket size ..... I'm hoping the torque multiplier that does the wheel nuts will fit in place to undo the this steering arm nut .... and I may as well remove the arm from the other position that connects to the steering box pitman arm ......

There are rust marks around the steering box mounts where the bolts fit through the chassis .... I wonder if that is what he meant by steering play ..... strange way to describe it ....

Probably more if a misunderstanding than being conned.

GST is applied at checkout. Exchange rates are the same across financial institutions. Same with all the other international online stores.

At least know you know for next time.

Terry, is there actually any wear in the kingpins or did that bloke just assume there was because there was play in the steering?

Can you split the nut? But then, how do you get it apart?
