Now in Perth with rellies for a couple of days. Getting here was both scenic and interesting, taking in Wave Rock, then the Granite & Woodland Trail back to Norseman, south to Esperance and the fantastic Cape Arid, Cape Le Grande, Stokes Inlet, Starvation Bay and Fitzgerald River NP. On the way to Stirling Ranges I changed my plan and went to Beverley for the weekend, then through to Perth today. What a fantastic, scenic country! A few days of not so nice weather kept me cooped up a bit pondering the wisdom of the whole venture, but things are good now and the travels are going well, if a bit more quickly than I'd originally thought (thus the time to have a quick visit in Perth). From here I'll go back to the Stirling Ranges, Albany and loop through the SW to be back in Perth beginning July.
It is a pleasure traveling when you meet so many interesting and helpful people from around this big country!
