Back in Alice Springs for a couple of nights after spending 5 wonderful nights around the Larapinta Drive/Namatjira Drive which is Alice to Alice.

About to leave Alice this morning for Rainbow Valley then west to Curtain Springs (no service) until Chris & Val arrive on the 11th. Only service between now & WA will be at Erldunda either to-morrow or Friday & maybe the roadhouses across the GCR. Catch you all about 20th June in WA.

Camooweal Billabong, but there's not a lot of water. Sunny and 29 degrees.

Quite full, Ros. We arrived shortly after 1.30 pm and all the level spots along the water were taken so we parked up further south with just a glimpse of water. But as we're only staying one night it's not an issue. The CAW book says it's 72 hours but the sign coming in says 48 hrs. It certainly looks like a few have been in residence for quite a while. We are filing away all these locations for future reference. Fuel at the independent in town was $1.90. Fortunately we only needed 40 litres to fill up.
Cheers
