Dash Cam,

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dashboard cam. Anyone had any experience with one of these or any recommendations. Certainly are heaps of them out there on ebay.

We have used a Go Pro and found it pretty good. Keep your dash clear of maps etc as they will reflect into the picture. Also make sure you push the SD card ? and make sure it is fully in place. We lost one days travel photos as I did not check this. We down loaded into computer each night and started with the SD card ? cleared each morning.

Wow, you must have a hughmongus hard drive. Pray tell us more (perhaps on another thread) the purpose and methodology of this exercise.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

Thats not one of those cameras Al Lawence used to talk about. Picks up traffic nig-nogs and people doing wrong things and its all recorded on the dash cam... :?: :?: :?:

SteveW's is a couple of years older now, but still a goody. They are significantly cheaper and have different bells and whistles, however, the main consideration is - do you want just the video or do you want the GPS data recording with it. GPS shows you time, date, location and current speed on your video. Some can also function with your computer software to show your track on either maps of Google Earth. As the showman says, "You gets what you pays for".

Here's one I recorded earlier:
