Just a cuppla numbers from our trip.
We totaled 7749 kilometres in the bus with a over all average of 6.61 Ks per litre
We also hired a car while in Mareeba for 7 days and done 1,050 kilometers in it..
Only been home a day and wish we were still out there.

Well we are now in Tennant Creek, doing a little" housework" before we move on again closer to King Ash Bay we are travelling well and having a great time. Fuel is getting very expensive up this way the most we have had to pay is $2.05..

We spent a wonderful three days with Kate at Gem Tree will post some photo's for you all if you are in that area you really must go and say hi to Kate and spend a day or two...

After a "stop,start" trip down from Mullewa to-day we are now at Buntine Rock for the night- we were here in 2010. Very overcast so would not be surprised that we get a shower to-night.

Hate to tell you this but maybe you're a thousand KM's too far South at this time of year??

I guess the farmers are happy though.
Not too bad here today ... bit of breeze but high clouds & expecting about 17 or 19 degrees.
I'd love to be elsewhere but my calendar looks like someone threw a handful of wheat at it. ... appointments everywhere I look!!
Gotta see if I can move a few back or forwards I reckon??

It was six degrees in Alice last night. Burrr
