I've had to do as suggested and start putting mine in the fridge, a 1 tr smoothie is about the limit
The sugar and sugar low cravings are a well known event, but few realise the cause and that it's self perpetuating, once you get over the sugar addiction the sweetness of stuff you ate before can be quite off putting, yet you associated them with pleasure before, now there is a cause and effect answer as to why that happens.

I have to admit I am one who has life problems of an anxiety type after many years of tablets
I still fall into that black hole from time to time I am hoping I can give my nerves a rest by watching my diet what ever way it goes
a better diet certainly wont hurt & there is a chance it might even help, I am also an asthmatic & going without example bread with wheat my breathing is inproving
slowly does it and I am not bible bashing
its just S0oooo interesting

Thanks Glenda, that was very interesting and I'm so glad you guys are all enjoying the Kefir and all its benefits, I found out about Kefir from Louise Hay's fantastic books, which helped me in so many areas of my life.
My Bananas are a bit dearer here in Onslow WA for my Smoothies, but well worth it.

How's the son's leg going Gloria?
I too have to refrigerate my Plant half the day Terry, it's a bit warmer up here.

No takers for my Kefir grains lately have had to throw them out!! As I know you both will have extra too now.
Wow! 6 Kefir drinkers in you household Gloria!! I'm still trying to talk my hubby into it!! and just my son and his fiance enjoying it in my family and best friend.
Cheers All, It's great hearing the feedback.

Cheers
Ash & Wendy

I don't throw mine out, it just goes into the smoothie along with the rest of it, that's how it climbed from 400mls to a ltr  4 heaped tablespoons off the top,the rest into the smootie container, wash out the plat jar, 2 cups of milk and then pour enough out of the stirred up lot back in the plant jar to bring it up to the same level. Then I put the remains of the last back stored in the fridge into the smoothie pot, give that a good whizzing, wash the storeage jar out and fill it back to the same level, then make the smooty with the remains. If there isn't 300mls of mix before I start, I pour some back from the stored stuff, haven't had that problem for quite some time  A heaped tablespoon of the crushed nut mix (pinenuts, sunflower seeds and almonds run through the chopper thing) 4 bits of mangoe from the Goulburn Valley jar full from Woolies, half a banana is the latest addition, a bit of milk is there is any room left.... yummmm

Until I learn more from experience I am terrified of loosing my KEIFER plant so I have started 2 extra just in case
Thank you for your interest JP is not a well person by lunch time he is exhausted needs a rest, he is able to now drive the tractor
his leg is working so much better, JP's plant is just getting bigger, His teenage daughter has eczema on her face & she has now started on the brew,
Because JP has psoriasis an inherent skin disorder that has mysteriously cleaned up  (could it be the brew?)

Any way what ever --- it is well known that we need good bacteria which Keifer is we can't Loose

(It is our own decision to continue taking this brew) Just for your protection Wendy

Thanks again Ash & Wendy
