Quobba Point Camp Area WA
Quobba Point Camp Area WA and where were we parked????? right next to Bob & Bev who we met way back in April at Wongan Hills, they were heading straight to Quobba from there and we wondered as we drove in if they were still there and then we parked right next to them!!!
No facilities up the tracks and best to be self contained, has 2 Dump Points Bins and toilets up at entrance, The Blow Hole and rock cliffs and speccy blue waves and whales out in the distance, lovely spotYou do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Quobba Point Camp Area WA
Oh that's nice!! Isn't fantastic when you meet up way again in strange places?
Years ago when I used to push a truck around the countryside I was for ever amazed at where you meet people 'from back home'. (accidently)
Did Bob take Ash out fishing?
PS. The wild waves were crashing over Kingston Jetty yesterday!!! Can't walk out it today unless you climb over 10ft of seaweed piled up on it.

Re: Quobba Point Camp Area WA plus 3 Mile near Onslow WA
Yeah Bruce!! It's amazing, it's actually happened to us a few times now, thousands of k's away from where we met them in the first place!!....very freaky.
WA is looking a bit better for camps up north although they are only predominately 24 hr stops, but there is a fantastic free camp on the Ashburton River outside of Onslow near old Onslow right on and along the river 3 mile and 5 mile where you can stay longer, 25 minutes from Onslow but a lovely spot. No facilities though.
When we go for a drive again I'll get some pictures of it.

Sounds lovely W&A. Do the Bob & Bev still remember us? How is little Jacky doing? Miss Meow went well in her first trial run in the bus, put her in the crate while on the move.

Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
