Screwed by Telstra?

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

My drama went of for nearly 2 yrs with Telstra regarding a wifi internet dongle. Talk about being screwed over till the big boys got involved, I still have the dongle, it has never worked in the 2 yrs they charged me service fees, they can not give me another account that would simply be a replacement sim card, I must buy another new dongle with associated costs. Needless to say, I am not a Telstra customer or ambassador any more

There is only one really serious phone network provider........TELSTRA. If you want it to work......... almost anywhere there is no choice. You do get what you pay for (on a good day) and if you're not happy with the situation as it is, just wait till the NBN (should be NFFP - not fit for purpose) is in place. That's when the s... will really hit the fan, and we will realise just how good the Telstra land line network really is. I am so tired of people all around the country complaining when their mobiles have no coverage. First question...who are you with....oh really! Ah but it's really cheap, yep CHEAP is the word.

I'm not complaining about my mobile phone Bob and Syreenna, just about the arbitrary, profit motivated removal of my 3 G service by Telstra.

I'm not motivated by cheap, cheap, cheap, just believe in paying a FAIR price for a fair service, which Kogan provided, as evidenced by the more than 100,000 customers who subscribed to its service.

Unfortunately, Telstra does not want any form of competition and will protect its almost total control of telecommunications by any means, fair or FOUL.

Ozfueler, if ispone had paid their bill you would still have your service thru Kogan. If Russell wasn't a cheapskate and gave away recharge cards with the phone he would have more customers and less money :D :D

Shall probably get jumped on here but we can honestly say that when we have ever had any phone, internet, dongle problems the problem has been resolved very quickly. I ALWAYS ask to be put back to a centre in Australia. Quite often am told not possible but state that they have to when asked. A couple of years ago a David in Adelaide gave me that bit of info. I then demand to speak to someone I can understand & from then on not a problem. Really there is no choice when travelling!
We have 2 mobiles, one on a business plan & one with a free hour, the internet, a new 4g Sierra Wireless dongle (free) which was sent to me this year because my 3g (18mths old) was dropping out, land line on one A/C as well as the Sat phone.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
