Just to advise those of you that have SF3239 satellite meters, that as of the 4th Dec 2012 you may need to reprogram the "DOWN FREQ". If this is not done, you will not receive a signal and hence no "beep" when aligning your dish. Optus has recently done a restack of it's frequencies and some SBS services have moved across to Optus D3. They have also ceased transmission on C1 frequency 12447 MHz which is the frequency we had programmed into the meters. This frequency will need to be changed in the SF3239 to 12567MHz
The main points to reprogram the SF3239 meter are listed below.
1. Power up the meter by either connecting it to the VAST set top box or the included battery pack.
2. Once the unit is powered up, press "OK" on "FIND SATELLITE"
3. Highlight "DOWN FREQ" by using the UP/DOWN buttons on the meter (currently should read 12447).
4. Hold down the RIGHT button until 12567 appears.
5. Press Exit.
Your meter is now re-tuned and will operate as intended.
Also those of you with 11.3GHz LNBs that in order to continue to receive all the SBS services you will now need to a 10.7GHz LNB. If you still have an 11.3 LNB you will find you are unable to get some SBS services as of the 4th Dec 2012.
