Camped in Robinvale/Euston. Small & clean CP. We're right on the Murray riverbank!
Pelicans swimming & flying up & down all afternoon. One cheeky magpie demanding food, too. (Didn't get any!)
Weather has finally warmed up... no diesel heating required tonight!
Decided to stay another day & veg out before heading for home (slowly).
Don't have to be there until next Tuesday.
Plan to spend a day or two at Lake Lascelles, Hopetoun, en route. :)

Spent last night in Barham/Koondrook.
V disappointed to find that the fine Redgum furniture studios which were there on our last visit (about 7yrs ago) have all closed down. Told that one had moved to Kerang, so retraced path to visit, only to find that more than half his stuff is Radiata Pine stained to resemble Redgum! :(
He also has lots of mass-produced furniture, with just a few showpiece Redgum natural-edged slab tables.
I've seen better work at the Melb Working With Wood shows...
Disappointed, I am.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

The wood mill on the way into Barham closed quite a few yrs ago, that was where the redgum came from, the mill is now home to a very big solar array.
A mate of mine who lives in Koondrook worked at the timber mill for 15 yrs or more, next minute, no job, no redundancy, out on your arse. It has just about finished the two towns, they are all living either on the dole or getting subsidised work on the flood the forest project, yet another brainless idea being organised by complete dills. Some of the stories have you in tears laughing until you realise that we are paying for the joke, it looses it humour then.

Going back past Tooleybuc Ray?
Better go into Tooleybuc and measure the bridge for Dot!
There's a lovely Dollhouse that Joy may enjoy browsing there.
Lot of history surrounding that bridge. It still opens for paddle steamers I believe.
