Great to hear you're finally OTR!
Miss Meow sounds much better behaved than our two hounds. The Ratbag Lab would be impossible to take touring. The Little Digger Beagle might be OK on his own, but with the RL the pair like to play tug-o-war with the washing - or anything else handy; like shoes, tea-towels, rigger's gloves (one only - I now have two left gloves to spare after buying a third pair ). Beagle also tempts Lab to join him in a Major Excavation. They don't dig for anything... they just dig.
That's why the pair are at home, being 'house-&-dog'-sat.

Enough about you... what's my news?

Great little town with a free camp by the river (you might have to queue up for a spot to become available) and they welcome Grey Nomads into the town's social life.

Happy Travels anyway... and you know where we live if you're crazy enough to risk Melbourne's weather... but make it quick if you want to visit!

Ray we are heading to see G's son and family, we are going to stay at Marburg show grounds for a couple of days then will head to Nanango to meet up with some of the riffy raffy from here & there then we really have no idea where we shall be of go, have to be home for the 12th Oct as the rental tribunal have set a date for the hearing Right now 1530hrs it has cooled to just a pleasant temp, good sleeping temp. Just saw the news about David Frost has died

David where do you come out if you go that way. From Mendooran to ???

Bruce, If you go through Mendooran you come out about 10km south of Coonabarabran. Or if you go the other way then Gilgandra. I usually go through Mendooran when heading north as it is a lot flatter than the Newell.

Woke up to find another MH and an A van had crept in over night bringing the total to 2 caravans, 2 MH's and the A van. So now there is just the 2 MH's left to fight it out to see who is last to depart. Warming up again so we might hit the road sooner rather than later.

Stopped early today 3pm. What crap roads here in NSW just like being on a boat. We did 372ks today and have stopped for tonight in a parking bay about 25ks from Dubbo. I have come to the conclusion that if no loos are provided these spots quickly become the sewer stops, where we stopped for lunch was just the same as here, every bush and tree had a pile of poo and toilet paper, surely the dirty bastards could dig a hole but I guess for a lot of people that would be like hard work . Lots of caravans and MH's on the road now heading Sth. Miss Meow was a good girl today, she slept all the time we were moving peacefully either on the chair or in her new bed on the floor so I guess we can say she likes the lifestyle. When we stop for a few days and in a quieter place I shall put her harness on and go for a walk. Speaking of grots, a car just pulled up the male got out and had a pee at the back of his car saw it all on the reversing camera, I was going to offer him a wet one to wipe his hand And right now a caravan has pulled in eyeing off the place, will they stay the night? he is having the walk around ? level or not? hmmmm we'll see shall we? right now time to get the spuds peeled and feed Miss Meow and of course Mr. G. Arh yes they are unpacking the tug to stay cuddled up to mother ship
