Workers wanted Onslow IGA WA

Post by weezanickinoff »

We are working at Onslow Supermarket in the Pilbara WA at the moment and plan on staying on over summer as we still have soooo much to see up north after the heat has gone and we have power and water here to get us through in comfort, they are fantastic to work for and are VERY considerate of all our age frailties!!! 5 1/2 hours a day 5-6 days a week (neg) at from $23 an hour!
They really need reliable workers, short term or long term, they have spaces at the Onslow Caravan Park if needed to now, right on the beach, sunrise & sunset views over the water!!!!

See their ad on Grey Nomads.com http://thegreynomads.com.au/classifieds ... sted-4613/ if you'd like to see.
We are really enjoying it and hope a few of you may see it as an opportunity to set up over summer and make some money at the same time.....................No experience needed but would obviously be an advantage.

Cheers
Ash & Wendy

Very interesting Wendy & Ashley.
Do you have cement blocks & tie-down chains ready?
I know most onsite vans in 'suspect' areas are tied down very securely.
Are you not worried just a little bit?

Nuk Bruce!! Not one bit, that's when it's an advantage to have wheels on your home  We've told them if it even looks like a cyclone we're outta here until all is well then return.........to hopefully what's left.
You get plenty of notice these days, so we'll head inland, where it wont be as strong, the bus could take strong wind if we get it inland.
Cheers.................Ya comin' up???? ;)

Amazing how the thought of a bit of wind sends some into a spin!!
Most of the coastal sites have tiedown points up north.
However, I agree, have wheels, easy to relocate:) Its more the flying debris that concerns me, something through the window/windscreen could be a game changer!
Unfortunately I am already gainfully employed and will be for another 12 months or so
