We didn't go to the RSL tonight, will go tomorrow night when it should be quieter Ros & Ivan shall be in tomorrow pm and who knows where Steve Ozfueler has detoured to Norman is still waiting for parts for his van and so the running over of chinamen continues Jon & Kay have gone into hiding, Gary & Trish have gone on detour with Steve. If any of them are near some fresh strawberries please bring them, I am hanging out for some.

No Terry too cold down there, Beewah they were giving the things away With all the people here for the music festival everything in the shops has gone or the prices have gone up I am patient I can wait but for now shower time as it was sooooooooo hot, air con going all day.

Dot I just heard that strawberries are on special at Carlo's in Murray Bridge.
Seems he over ordered.... on special for 60c a punnet.
We have them here for $1.50. Bought 2 of them!!! I was going to whip up a sponge cake & cover it with whipped cream & strawberries but they never lasted that long!!

There is currently a glut of strawberries with some growers just leaving them in the paddock. WA growers have recently lost their export market so are sending them to the eastern states market. They have been $1 per punnet in Newcastle for some time now.

Well, we spent all day waiting for the excitement of the buses moving but alas not today my dear was the cry. Tomorrow is the word Very strange ute thing came past us this arvo and it was covered in grass, didn't know if we should mow it or smoke it It belongs to a man that is going to shift the buses Anyway just after lunch Ros and Ivan arrived bearing strawberries yummy, we made arrangements for the RSL bus to pick the 6 of us up at 5.30pm and it arrived dead on time. Delivered us to the door and we piled out a couple of us ferals headed to the pokies but I wanted food so we ordered right on the stroke of 6pm. Very enjoyable meal and pudding I must say. The others were also impressed with the quality of their meals. After we all went for the common practice of the stroll up and down the streets to have a peep at where things were then headed back to the RSL so a certain supers----- could get the antidote for that Jon bug he may have got from the swimming pool XXXX then we requested our ride back to our abodes out the road and said goodnight to all bellies full and content with the world. Norman didn't join us tonight because the lady he & Christine are staying with doesn't drive at night so he has to wait till his van is finished before they can be self reliant . Really looking forward to the big shift tomorrow should be interesting. Chairs and cameras a ready to capture any and all events. Was a rather hot day today and I have a red colour to my pale English Rose skin. Keith as for the ice cream you should have seen the one Ros had for her pudding tonight Ssshhhhhhh
