Wheelchair friendly MH?

Does anyone know of either a vehicle suitable to convert to or already converted that is suitable for wheelchair access?
Something like a 9m bus ??
Ideas welcome!!

A lot of the disabled transport buses have wheel chair lifts, they would suit conversion. A friend of mine bought one and sold the wheel chair lift for as much as the whole bus cost him. The market for resale is very small they generally go cheap, just a matter of looking around the council sale tenders looking for one that suits.

Bruce my next doors Isuzu same year as mine was wheel chair friendly, the side door is larger then most as the lift mechanics were there. He has removed all the lift stuff which was hydrolic and made steps instead. The back door also had a pair of ramps which slid out to accomidate the wheel chair as well.
He still has all the gear.

Thanks all for your input. The goal is to have a MH that Tracy can travel in by herself if need be. This puts a whole heap of contstraints around what type of vehicle it can be.
Considerations to date:
- need to be able to get in and out, by herself...most lifts require 2 ppl ( someone to shut the door afterwards!!)
- auto
- power steer
- acess to drivers seat
- flat floor
- high roofline ( i'm 188cm thats 5'14" in the old money)
- fuel efficent
- wide...probably wider than a coaster / rosa / civilian
- manuverable - which means not too long

...these machines are as common as dung in SA at the moment, especially since they sacked all the local contractors and brought in new (interstate) contractors with shiny new chinese busses ( another story)

The risk is that they are probably much bigger in length than we need and that they will need a wheelchair lifter fitted.

The really big risk is that everywhere you look there is a partially completed motorhome for sale, which indicates that its much more difficult and expensive to complete the conversion than most people estimate.

Bruce has found a short wide bus parked under a tree that might represent an opportunity but I would be very keen to hear any suggestions you might have.

We missed the people that were next to us last night they did the caravan flit, didn't hear a thing.. Anyway the gentleman has been wheelchair bound for the past 51yrs and drives their rig with a trailer in tow without any worries. Their MH was a winnie about 7mts it had the chair lift and he could do that bit on his own, he also closed the door by a rope tied to the handle. I never got to look at the inside layout because they were gone.

We got one of them roosters about 3 doors down............ I reckon it'll go missing once daylight savings comes along!!!
An extra hour of crowing every morning will just be too much!!
