tiaro and benarkin

Post by madiesmum »

my two new fav free camps.

benarkin, near blackbutt - lovely grounds, play area for kids, clean toilet and shower area. cold shower free and $2 in coin slot for hot (not long though)
tiaro - nice and flat, in town, free 2 min solar shower (2 mins on, 3 mins off, then you can have another 2 mins), play area for kids, good shopping area.
love anne-marie xx
hino am100 - big red bus

Wonderful AM but I'm sorry it'd be no good for me!
Takes me 3 minutes to find the soap these days!

Don't forget that Tiaro, has a good butcher and the good old fashioned pub is just a short stroll from the camp area. Just 2 of the good places there to put something back into the town that lets you park for free and provides decent basic facilities.

Our local council has just finished building a big, brand new, toilet block next to the town hall for local rate payers and visitors alike and within a week or two of opening we get some grumpy *****#* write a nasty letter to the local paper running down the council for not having soap or soap dispensers in them.
Grrr!
Some people just expect so much! (Don't you Mrs Nicholson?)
How long would soap stay there with all the Wicked (etc) vans around?
Bring your own soap Ladies!! (notice the CAPITAL?)

This lady takes her own hand wash in her handbag all the time IF I ever use public loos that is. Mostly I would pref to wear a nannanappy just incase I had to go. Mrs N might be one of those that "borrow" toilet rolls as well as soap.

Always nice to hear about good small town butchers Thanks Pokey :D
As far as pub meals the best we have come across in yrs was at Kingston SE recently. Bruce may recall the pubs name...
