Good Night all, looks like I'll be sniffing the candles, but I'll leave a night light on jusat in case. Scott has finally arrived after his epic trip through Syd and getting lost, not a good thing in a 40 ft coach, but he made it.

What's the parade for Dot? Narranderra is a little bit famous for hot rods but that is usually at Easter time.Photos please.

Not a good night for us last night bl...dy neighbor in caravan van parked the wrong way in his site next to us so was within 2 feet of our side wall (all sites in this park are drive through) first they went out left air-con on with dog inside while they went out dog barked till they returned Next it was off to bed for us at 10pm but no sleep next door had TV on with windows open didn't turn it off till 4am even when I lost it 2.30am and shouted to turn the Bl...dy thing off so up early today as we have booked for another 2 days we went to office and now we have the best site in the park with a note in office not to park anyone next to us for two days A big thankyou to C/P lets see if they keep their word. A SCAN will be had after lunch for some catch up sleep, off to do the car door tours in Lightening Ridge now before it gets much hotter.

The joys of caravan parks hey? We went outside earlier to say hi to our wiz banger neighbour for the night and it turns out she (solo) is from Mannum, not far from us, has rellies in Beechworth (where I lived) She asked where we liked in the West and I said Mt Magnet, she then said her sister has just moved there. Spooky huh Don't know if it is good ol Telstra again but the comp is very very slow tonight, so I shall say goodnight everyone while I can.. x Lights please Deborah.

Nite Nite everyone hoping for some sleep tonight so far no one near us yeah, so going to hit the sack, one more night here before moving on we decided to stay due to it being a long weekend in NSW and the end of school holidays, will move again on Monday and find ourselves a nice free camp before we hit Burren Junction for a day or two. Only 2 weeks till home. Are we ready Not sure

Ros, you are bringing back some great memories of Lightning Ridge. If you are in the newest caravan park, the managers were so lovely and the whole place felt tremendous. I would love to go back and revisit the man with carvings all over the walls of his mine. his work was amazing and apparently always changing/growing so worth a visit anytime you pass the area. I think it was called the chamber of the black hand?
