Wow, Dot, you don't want much do you? Those are just beautiful pieces Ros, you bought very well indeed.

I haven't seen any glass like that before, so I suspect it is a transfer that gets put between the layers of glass to give the tree image. I will have to do some research and get back to you. I am sure it can be done in my kiln, but it may take a while to find the right product. I am now on a mission. xxx

Are you sure it's not resin? Those gear stick knobs with spiders etc in them are just resin I think.

But the gear knob things are real spiders aren't they Bruce, but I don't think the trees are ;)

Glad you liked them Deborah the silver and black almost looks like glitter it is quite beautiful. If you are in the Denmark Region of WA around Easter I purchased them from there at the Easter market, it was a fantastic market, the artist did say she made them herself but I have seen them at a market in Victoria so one would have to wonder  Good luck with it all..

I like the way you are both thinking Terry n Bruce, but no, they are definitely glass. I recognise the background glass, no worries there, its the trees that are a decal that gets fired under another layer of clear glass.
If you have seen similar in Vic, then the decals are available, but it means that others will have similar pieces to yours. Are you sure that's what you want Dot? I am now determined to find the decals, just for my own interest, but I could only make a few of them as my motto is that every piece is a different work of art. To me, using a decal is sort of cheating.
My research is continue-ing.
