Remember SA had all that rain, and the grass is the santa anna that does well with little water and well roses love to be ignored but I did give them all a good feed of chook poop.. I had to do the paddock 3 times to get it down to a proper level but that was mostly the weeds..

Dot how is George getting on now?
Is he coming good?
I really feel for both of you as it's so crippling!

Re: EerWeGoAgen Departs Sept 1st 2013
I was informed that I was to pick him up yesterday morning
. Had a bit of a sooky la la episode at the hosp but got him home amd shuffled him inside with the help of a walking frame. Didn't have a good day at all and hit the Oh woe is me wall when dear ol Jenny aka Aussiegirl rang in the evening. If you remember me saying I wrote a note for the DR asking to send G to the RAH for a MRI etc and she replied to G "there is no need right now" I read his discharge letter and in that she has written 1/ I suggest a MRI considering his history of prostate ca and the ? of metastisess"
Then I read his medications on discharge form, I asked for the ones I took in and also got a script for some good stuff (which I got filled) just after I got him home and before I read the next bit of the meds on discharge,, I rang the hosp to ask if they had forgotten to give me either the pills or scripts for those noted on his papers.. Ummmmmm "no there is no script but you can buy over the counter ibxxxxx but not the 400mg as noted but you can get the 200mg ones and you will need to get a script for the other ones he needs"
That just added to my state of mind. Later I managed to get him into the shower for a few minutes as he stood on 1 leg and held onto the top of the shower frame. As expected water everywhere so it was down on hands and knees to clean up Ouch... Anyway got him into bed and just could not believe the situation.. Gave him what pills I had of mine and that will see us through till I get him to see my GP on Tues. Today he has been able to get to the big chair and lay back for about 1 hr then it is shuffle off again and to ask for drugs and bed. And that my friends is the drama of the last couple of days. One thing that I did find interesting when I was having a rant to the nurse I know was she let it slip that the old lady in the next room to G had also complained that she had not been washed or offered a shower.. The nurse had not been in G's area and that was her first day looking after him and she was shocked at what I had said.. Also told her I would be going to see the DON in person to let her know how we found the care there.. She agreed
Also a complaint will be going to the medical clinic where that Dr works that was his treating Dr at the hosp.. Better today thank goodness.x

Yes Dot, Kharma will bite them when they least expect it, but you can cause them all bloody hell when you are up to it too. Lots of better health days for you both. xxx

Re: EerWeGoAgen Departs Sept 1st 2013
took Gman to see my GP this morning. (She used to be a physio before going into medicine) She was "dismayed" at the lack of "attention" that G had received and soon rectified all that.. She did the most thorough neuro tests on his leg and back then wrote a request for a CT then rang the place and we had am appointment 1 hr later. All done bar the report and she will let us know what gives
.What a difference a good Dr makes hey? anyway we got there and back ok, G laying down in the front seat etc. Yesterday we had a visit from the real estate man with an offer on the little house which of course was stupid so we said no and it goes back & forth and then blow mw down he rang just after that to say he has just had another ph call wanting to have an inspection so keep those fingers and legs crossed.. Then even more sort of good news, got the mail and the rental tribunal has re ser a new hearing, by ph this time so all good. Now we wait and see on all fronts.. At last the sun is smiling on us for a wee while.

Dot, That's a much better sounding report. Glad to see the chinaman that you flattened has decided to leave you alone. Fingers, toes, arms and legs all crossed. xxx

& it's a little beauty. Small, but the replay on either the computer or the TV is outstanding... just like using a good quality video camera.
Didn't bother with the bidding stuff, just accepted the $52 'buy now' price & with free delivery we had it within 3 days.
Seriously thinking of getting one for the rear of the car as well.
I purchased one the same from http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400482957038 ... 1439.l2649
Tried it out on the loco windscreen yesterday, these photo's are captures of the video each second.
You don't get much time to react at 115 kph.
How long does your battery last?
