Sure does. The worst pain ever, only comparable pain is gall stones, had both and its a bloody toss up. Disc pain just grates on your nerves like you wouldn't believe. Hope it rights itself for Georges sake, I feel for you mate.

Back again from the GP and she is quite happy with progress. Has given him 1 more week to show improvement and she is reasonably ok with him seeing the chiro for gentle traction (no adjustments yet) if we don't get any improvement she will send his CT results to the Orthopod for his perusal/comments then we go from there. The scan showed a big bulge at L4-5. So the nasty bitch is on his case in regard to his pills and movement. Looks like he won't be taking me for my little poke poke poke poke on Tues arvo doesn't it?

Gregs was L5 S1 and he had spinal fusion about 20 years ago, but these days he's having issues, his leg goes numb on him, gives way, or hurts, all due to nerve impingement, so he knows what G is going through.
I recently had simple intercostal back pain and was in tears with it....and that's not half as bad! Might add that that's ok now! Took weeks of rest though.

Will be thinking of you both!

The G man is improving ever so slowly but surely. Has progressed from the walking frame down to a walking stick most of the time now His appetite is getting back to where it was before , He has even gone for a shuffle outside in the sun for a dose of vit C. Just keep fingers crossed he continues on the improvement path..

So glad that G is on the mend, now all we need to do is get you and Terry better. This is a forum full of people with very serious health issues.
Do you think we need to try to use our time with the big man upstairs to try for some relief for you all?

Dot, the old fella won't get much vitamin C outdoors, that vitamin D. Vitamin C is from the likes of oranges....Lol. So ends the vitamin lesson for the day.

Good to hear he is on the mend though. Hated the walking frame and stick after the initial knee op. Remember the one where you were pushing me to get a replacement and called me a sook for not getting the replacement. Actually knee is going pretty well and happy with it the way it is. Only hurts when I kneel on it and as you know I don't do much of that....Lol.
