CMCA handling fee$30

Whats this bloody handling fee, dont they get a rake off from the insurer.
Stamp duty what the F*&^% should be done away with.
Whats the next alternative. You opinions please...All this for $13000 insuered....Stinks

Norman you could do like me & carry your own insurance.
I haven't had any vehicles insured since about 1980. (I just have 3rd party property)
I've saved enough over the years to just buy a replacement.
As for those charges............
I think it's Australian law that any commission paid (to referrer or broker) must be disclosed as a separate fee.
Most of the other charges are Gov fees & requirements.
I'm VERY sure you can request the insurance company repay you that CMCA fee....... they can't refuse.
