Reading the ad it appears the hydraulic lift is engineered and still fitted, only the tie downs had been removed and he still has them. It is also mentioned it was a coach, not a passenger route bus, that makes a big difference to ride comfort.
It is also plated for 2 seats and is still registered. I'm guessing the repairs are for the registration inspection before name transfer, i wonder how the last owner got it registered if it now needs kingpins and rear brakes o/hauled. Maybe a grease and brake adjustment would get it through the rego part, then look at doing the repairs at your leisure rather than paying excessive prices to have them done by a workshop. Kingpins are an easy enough job, the rear brakes require a lot of labour but the work itself is easy enough, they kept them simple back in those days.

A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

Good buy Bill!!
Those little Pussy Cats are a good engine. I know of one that did very close to a Million kms.
Do NOT rebuild it/them ........ they will not take a rebuild. They are Cat's only throw away engine.
Find out the history of the engine if you can.
Can't wait for the build details as they happen.
Think very seriously about Lithium batteries for the house batteries BEFORE you go too far into the setup as some equipment is a little specialised.
