We found if we use crusher dust that the moisture goes away quicker & they dry out quicker & you don't get so much deteriation. (Spell checker goes cranky at that word! Ray?)
I think T1 calls it roadbase or something? They're a bit diff over there!!!
Bruce,
It sometimes takes me a while to catch up here... busy packing.
The word is 'deterioration'...
Maybe if you got a spell-checker with an option for UK or Australian spelling???
Bluddy Yanks! (Actually, they spell it the same way. What you need is a spell-checker with a 'guess-ometer'... )
Dot,
We have the same problem in our garage. A crack in the floor appeared within weeks of moving in.
After 24 years it's still bringing up salt from the soil. We've tried everything... given up now.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

WHEN we sell here we shall either spray paint the whole area or cover with gravel. Went to inspect a "lifestyle village" yesterday and they are already having the same problems with their pavers, less than 12mths old

Dot, Just for a laugh try giving them a scrub with bleach or swimming pool chlorine. It won't cure the salt leaching problem, but it should make it go away for a while.
