Samsung Galaxy S4. updates for new

Just a warning if you are thinking of buying a new smart phone check on the updates required.
My son has just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and it needed an update from new which appeared to be using his 1Gb of download very quickly.
He connected to my modem in the bus and over night it consumed 3.6Gb of data for the upgrade.
Made my account go over :roll:
Rang the little Asian / Indian ladies and they refreshed my account and have given me another 4Gb for 10 days :lol: I did not realise what had happened till I got back in again as I was running that slow I could not do anything for several days.
We are still trying to find out how to turn off the updates but Mr Google will help.

Brian, you may find that these software upgrades are helpful to rectify difficulties that other users have complained about.
Next time, try a free wi-fi site with a good signal (library etc) and have a smoko or read a beer or drink a book. ;)
