Bob I've heard a few people talk about a nice sandy beach parking area at Tocumwal. I think it's a free camping area.
Wayne or Nini might know... or someone else?
Drink plenty of water. (or other liquids ;) )

Bruce, that is Town Beach in Tocumwal. We stayed there on our way north after Muckinupin. It's not free but very low cost - can't remember but cheaper than a couple of cappuccinos. This link to our blog has a few photos of the area. http://nussbaumerweb.wordpress.com/2013 ... -tocumwal/

Wayne and Nini stopped by to see us and Peter (Bellett65) and Raina arrived to spend a few days as well. Very pretty spot that we would stay at again.
Cheers
