Need Ideas.
Morning all you wonderful people, weather a little cool in Ballarat today but that's OK I have a few things to get done around the house before the mad Xmas get together, kids /grandkids all home as from Friday so best I get myself sorted, just need to have a few ideas for very easy nibbles and etc. for Xmas celebrations any ideas, also would like to make something different for cakes /slices etc. will have to do the lemon slice or No. 1 Son would kill me but what else is a good idea, they need to be easy as I am no cook. This is secret family recipe* but I'll share it with my good friends.
A tub of sour cream, half in each dish, half a jar of gherkin relish in one and half a jar of corn relish in the other and put them in the fridge for at least an hr. I like the Masterfoods stuff and the full bodied woolies sour cream tub, but they are all pretty good. Cut up carrots, zucchini, broccoli, celery and cauliflower into shoestring size about the length of your little finger, reduces the double dipping You will be surprised just how well it works and it is quick and easy. If you can think of other vegies that would work with it post them up.

Thanks Terry I do the Corn Relish one but use Philly cheese ,sour cream sounds good and I am lovin the Gherkin relish one just love Gherkin.. might give it a trial run today and have our own little happy hour
