I'd rather drive in Sydney than in most country towns, at least the drivers down there make up their minds, indicate, and then do it. When I lived in Tamworth I was forever waiting for drivers to finish their lunch prior to moving off when the traffic light turned green. Even here in Newcastle most drivers don't seem to know what a STOP sign means.
