Old battery.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Old battery.

Post by RussellB[SA] »

Put the MH into storage last Friday.

Visited it today, 4 days later, accidentally left the Waeco drawer fridge on with the drawer open to air it, but forgot to turn it off.

It is powered by direct connection to the 6 yo house battery charged by 2 solar panels ( guess 160 w)

There was water on the floor and ice on the top inside of the drawer.

Now something is still working in this heat, apart my my memory. :-)

Let's hope no further damage Russell.
Is the storage out in the sun? I'm guessing a lockup yard?
Now you have me wondering what I left turned on..............

Out in the sun, the saving grace, the fridge is voltage protected at 11v I believe.

No damage I hope.

Forget the battery, I'd be more worried about the compressor running non stop for 4 days.

What's done is done, hopefully ok or becomes a drawer which is what we originally thought it was.
