I think the term "free camp" is about to be banned in relation to this old black chooks place. The wrong impression is being given.

I was told the min cost was a large bottle of Baileys for an ova-nighter and negotiable on the ratio of bottles to nights for longer term stays. Apparently its easier to get a smile from Dottie when she has a bottle of Baileys in her hand, and an even bigger smile when she has half a bottle of Baileys in her hand and the rest having been taken by the glass full to keep her smile lubricated

Agree with all the above comments.

DO NOT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED & DO NOT ABUSE THE PRIVILEGE !

As we all know nothing is free in life.
Dotty's place is a convenient parking spot for the town of strathalbyn and surrounding areas, we have stayed there many times, we are totally self contained and do not need to use dotty and George's facilities, which should be the case for everyone visiting dot and George.
All visitors should give something rather than take, one time we were there, we left her hundreds of pickled onions - ask chuck!
Dotty, why has this subject raised its ugly head? Did somebody pinch your tomatoes?

Re: Our back yard (Strathalbyn)
I think maybe it's just a case of knowing the conditions before arriving so as not to offend or be offended.
Similar to the LNT (leave no trace) scheme.......... it's better to know & understand the conditions before you get accused of disobeying them.
Probably don't need to go further into the where.why, who's??? I had 'special' privileges at Dot's as my battery said "enough already"!!!

No just thought the term "Free camp" was a bit too loose.
