Drop loo stink solved!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Drop loo stink solved!

Post by pelbo »

Currently at Fort O'Hara Camp at Dartmoor Vic.

Saw this drop loo in the park with all the wood carvings, just up from the camp site - certainly solved the smell problem with drop loos!

Not a heck of a lot of privacy though.....

5 star compared to some of the road side stops overs. Come up to northern NSW and compare.

Exactly Dot, you would need to be really desperate and really hanging in there to use one. I would rather find a good tree in some deserted spot use than use one of them. With the bus I wouldn't have to use one so thank heavens. They really do need to step up on these in northern NSW if they plan on keeping ahead of the tourist thing. The way they are now its 3rd world stuff or actually less.

Just a bit of breathing training required that's all. If you take longer to make a down load than you can hold your breathe for you need to do some training on both actions
The major issue is when some A*hole empties their cassette with the killer chemicals Formaldehyde I think is the worst, and it kills the good bacteria in the composting toilet that the line must drawn as you need to know a km before you get there to start holding your breathe

That fence is on the bushland side! The loo faces the main road and town! That tree does give some privacy and shade....my photo was taken from the BBQ, tables and seating in a shelter.....at least you won't get too lonely if you have to go while your at the BBQ with friends...
