"tanks" here----Thanks for the blog things of your travels.
I enjoyed seeing them and greatly appreciated the time you have spent in posting them for those o us who like to Free Stay in pleasant surrounds.
It is good to have some advanced knowledge of the places we may just drive past if we are unaware of how nice the area is.
I guess that you have departed from Onslow by now, and possibly heading towards CLEAVERVILLE BEACH [CampAust #7 Site 506] for the "gathgering of kind people" later this year for the winter.
Will you be calling into the 40 mile Beach site [70km South of Karratha] & [40 km South of the Karratha Roadhouse] as you venture North ?.
I plan to spend around 1 month there (latest rate is $150 per month max 3 month stay) and then up to Cleaverville Beach for a longer stay to escape the Wheatbelt winter in Wyalkatchem, and put faces to names of people I have known and chatted with on the Forum for some time now.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Hi Tanks,
Thank you for that, we would love to get a better idea of what a camp spot is like before getting there, so that's why we do it, hopefully others will one day follow suit and video their stops, we need to be careful where we stay because of our size so it'd be nice to know beforehand what it's like. So thank you again.
We so far have no fast and hard plans but have had a sticky at 40 mile, mind you not enough as we were heading to Karratha for shopping and ran out of time. But after working for 8 months we are so tempted to just grab a nice spot overlooking the beach and relax, so going to 40 mile then Cleaverville is definitely on the cards. Gotta have a look at Karajini when its cool though, as it's still 35 if we are lucky to closer to 40 up here for weeks on end!! So that will be a while yet. We leave next Onslow Monday so only have 5 more days work left!!
Cheers

Nice spot, Barradale. Mind you that goes for most of the ones you have posted! May is probably the earliest to reasonabley head into Karrajini, but theres lots to see in there if you are halfway fit too. Wittenoom gorge is supposed to be very pretty too, if you dont mind taking a punt re asbestos. Tourists are completely discouraged but the area has its own attractions. I reckon the road will be eventually blocked off. Marble Bar as well is worth a look

Thank you Dapope, that's really good to know, I'll need to recouperate now, #@&% twisted my ankle 2 nights ago down on the uneven reefs!!!! ( A real nice pass time with a torch at night you get to see so much that isn't to be seen in daylight) so sitting, snorkling, kayaking is on the cards now for a little while.
Thanks again, great tips.

Hi Dotty, isn't it magnificent, my favourite yet, it's called a Feather Flower, Just beautiful has to be seen to be believed, that was end of July between Lyndon River and Barradale.
