Rain, Rain & no bloody rain!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Well we had the heaviest rain I have seen for a long time here last night at Erskine Park near Penrith. Had a couple of inches of water running through the garage and was about 1 inch off running through the house. Drains could not cope and all gutters where over flowing like wet season waterfalls

Bet ya can't guess what's happening here at the moment  but it is a spectacular light show, the flashes and thunder claps are both together, it's that close. Those long chain crack and rumble through the sky, nearly makes the rain acceptable, but only nearly.
At least it dried out enough to Brian's Hino and new trailer out without completely ripping the front yard to shreds, still left deep tyre tracks in the soft ground though.

Rutherglen has had rain most of the day for the past 4 days!
Ranges from light-but-constant-drizzle to pelting-down, and occasional small hail.
Forecast is more rain every day until Monday.
The farmers seem happy...
But unlike the farmers, we don't have a rain gauge - yet.

Still raining on and off here, gordon rang from Albury and said it was bucketing down there, sure hope he leaves it there and doesn't bring it with him. The water table is still so high around these parts that the slightest rain results in puddles in the lawn, heavy rain leads to lakes forming.
